★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the price point of the hotel, the AC wasn’t working for the duration of the stay which is unfortunate - we were told it was being fixed but reading reviews from the last few months it appears the AC hasn’t been working for awhile now. The location is very central, and the staff were friendly and helpful and organized for a portable cooling unit for us, but otherwise the rooms are a little more dated than the pictures would suggest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small but lovely hotel. Not for those looking for 'same old' upmarket places. Rather this is a delightful, authentic, boutique hotel with a caring and hospitable staff. The antique elevator adds to the charm. We stayed in one of the top floor rooms with a lovely terrace.

Having lived in France, stepping into their elevator felt like I was stepping into one of the buildings where I lived.
Staff was INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful. My partner ended up quite sick the evening we arrived and the young lady who was working that evening was on the ball helping me look for a pharmacy with a resident doctor and for on call doctors.
The following days, all of the other staff members were just as friendly and accommodating helping us get a lab come to is to conduct a PCR test.
Nestled in between the Hipódromo and La Condesa neighborhoods, this little boutique hotel is safe, quiet and in close proximity to several touristy places.
One con... No kettle. Not a deal breaker of course but it is the first time in all of my travels that there is no kettle in my hotel room.
Highly recommend this hotel.
