Nice looking place and staff.but food does not qualify as sushi. Not even close.

A gem! We were wandering around the food court at the mall when we saw some restaurants on the other end. We saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try. A little bit expensive (for Mexico), but very worth it. Everyone enjoyed their rolls and lychee martini’s were the bomb!

Finally found a great place that offers amazing food and most of all GREAT service. The staff was attentive and made sure that the entire experience was positive. The manager himself came over to check on us. I will definitely be going back. I recommend the "okinawa" which comes with miso soup and an assortment of sashimi and pickled vegetables. Also a chilled bottle of some dry sake is great to escape the heat outdoors. everything tasted authentically japanese.

No complaints about the food itself... but for prices no lower than in California, there were a number of oddities in the service: 1. Same tea served in individual pots, then not promptly refilled. 2. No wasabi until asked, no ginger or other palate cleanser 3. They served the food in the wrongest order. Miscellaneous rolls, teppanyaki, and THEN the omakase? 4. Generally lower energy level of staff than various neighboring restaurants

Menu Items: 10 piece Omakase X 2, Aburi Rolls, Valeria Rolls Service: The servers knew nothing about the cuisine. The “fancy” rolls that has heavy sauces had to come out first due to delay of Omakase. The servers were not able to answer the adequate orders of rolls to be consumed in Omakase(which at least I think its important so my palate is not ruined before eating nigiri with delicate flavors) Food: Valeria Rolls were good and we did enjoy it. However Aburi Rolls had no flavor at all except mayo. The star of the dine, Omakase set was just horrible. Maybe it had something to do with Omakase set coming out very late, but the rice particles were dead(mushy)/not warm and fish were not in their adequate temperature(warm). Overall: This is a PERFECT restaurant for you if you are a person that has NO KNOWLEDGE of the cuisine and is only looking forward to the presentation. With few drinks the meal is going to cost around 150~200 USD or around 3000 pesos and I expected more with this price point.

This place is great. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Great and friendly service. Aaron and Christopher made our stay very enjoyable. We will surely come back as soon as we can!
