Hiroshi Japanese Restaurant - 77440 Cancún

This was our favorite place to dine during our stay at Villa Del Palmar. The food and drinks were very tasty and presented well. That said, our favorite experience was being served by our waiter, Martin Zorroza. He was nothing short of amazing. He was fun, energetic, helped with our English/Spanish translations, great server and just made our experience special. What a wonderful guy at a great restaurant!

The wait for this restaurant is quite long, and the food is just ok. Limited vegetarian options. The service was really good, and yes, they do enforce the dress code. Men must have collared shirts.

The overall quality of food at all of the restaurants at Villa Del Palmar was probably 3.5. Hiroshi Sushi is the only restaurant of the bunch at Villa Del Palmar that we would never go back to. The fish was not fresh and just didn't taste good. The service was below average. The menu was lacking, and the interior was cramped. 2 stars for the food. 3 stars for the service.

Best restaurant option inside villa de palmer. Drinks menu is great. Good Sushi options. Appetizer shrimp and fried rice tasty. Very limited veggie options. Beef teriyaki great but chicken option just ok. Lot of dessert options but green tea ice cream only we like

My boyfriend and I ate here every night during our stay at Villa del Palmar. I can't say enough amazing things about this restaurant! The food is impeccably fresh, flavorful and perfectly filling. I highly recommend the Hiroshi Salad, the vegetable won ton toast, the chicken yakisoba noodles, the chicken teriyaki and the Rainbow sushi. The bartenders are equally great here! The manager, Carmen was so gracious and accommodating each night, always getting us a new table with a new view! Best restaurant in the resort!

Everyone from the host to the cooks to the servers were very courteous and sweet. The food was so good and desserts were to die for! Huge thanks to Eric D. for his astounding service! We came in a group of 8 and he did an amazing job attending to each person and recommending the perfect options for each one. Went above and beyond making us feel valued with a personal touch to our group. He truly is a gem!! Overall 11/10, will definitely be back!

Hiroshi Japanese Restaurant has been my favorite location to eat at during my stay at Villa Del Palmar in Cancun back in 2020 and now again in 2021. Came here three times in 2020 and two more times in 2021 and I seemed to enjoy it more each time. The staff also made the experience more enjoyable. You can taste the freshness of the food dishes. Everything is made fresh at that moment. From the opening appetizers, to the in-between portions to the main dish and even desserts. This resort restaurant location was a hit. This is highly recommended to try for yourself and taste what I mean.

We had such a great experience here, at the Hiroshi restaurant inside Villa del Palmar. The food was all super solid. The tempura was sooo crunchy and fresh, really great texture and flavor to the batter with a delicious tempura dip and Sriracha mayo dollops. Yum! I also loved the edemame, we got the spicy sauteed version and it had a lovely smokey spice to it with onion and jalapenos. ❤️ Some of our other favorites were the Mexican pepper roll, yuzu citrus roll, scallops, and sliced raw grouper dishes. The beef teriyaki was surprising as it was actually a filet mignon whole steak served with a side of teriyaki. Not what I expected when ordering but very tender and delicious! We tried all the desserts and finished all 4 between the 3 of us because they were all really yummy. I especially loved the cream brulee (it was more creamy and airy than traditional creme brulee bur very yummy). Our service was fantastic. Hector was our server and he was helpful with everything from questions about the menu to questions about our Spanish. He also brought us extra drinks and recommendations. After a funny moment he had the kitchen make us a plate illustration of it, which was so sweet and added a nice cap to the end. Solid food + great service = happy us!
