Nice restaurant overlooking a quiet stretch of beach. The service is friendly. I recommend the guacamole, well seasoned and enough for 2 people.

Wir zahlten für einen einfach Pineapple-Smoothie 150 Pesos, was völlig unverhältnismäßig ist. Auf der Rechnung stand „Pina Colada“ und uns wurde trotz Nachfrage der volle Preis von einem Cocktail abgerechnet obwohl wir einen simplen Smoothie ohne Alkohol bestellt hatten. Zum Vergleich: Im Fancy Beachclub zahlten wir am Vortag 60 Pesos für einen vollmundigen Smoothie mit mehreren Früchten. Am Strand selbst wird eine ganze Ananas für 100 Pesos an Strandgäste verkauft. Die Besitzerin war sehr uneinsichtig und verwies darauf dass es sich um frische Früchte handelt, was keinen Sinn macht, da aktuell Pineapple Season ist und die Früchte auf dem Markt sehr günstig gehandelt werden. Außerdem schmeckten die Pommes nach Fisch (vermutlich im gleichen Fett frittiert?!) If there was an option to give one star I would. We paid 150 pesos for a plain pineapple smoothie, which is totally out of proportion. The bill said "Pina Colada" and despite asking, we were charged the full price of a cocktail, even though we had ordered a simple non-alcoholic smoothie. For comparison, we paid 60 pesos for a full-bodied multi-fruit smoothie at the Fancy Beachclub the day before. On the beach itself, a whole pineapple is sold to beachgoers for 100 pesos. The owner was very unreasonable and pointed out that the fruit was fresh, which makes no sense since it is currently pineapple season and the fruit is traded very cheaply on the market. In addition, the fries tasted like fish (probably fried in the same fat?!)

Die günstigeren Nudelgerichte waren alle aus, sodass nur Nudeln mit Garnelen oder vegetarisch verfügbar waren, was wir dann bestellt haben. 3. In den vegetarischen Nudeln schwomm eine tote Fliege. 4. In den Nudeln mit Garnelen befand sich ein mittellanges braunes Haar. Für 280 Pesos wirklich eine Frechheit! 5. Auf der Rechnung wird automatisch mit 15% Trinkgeld kalkuliert. Wofür? 6. Bringt euch euer Bier selbst mit an den Strand und esst vorher etwas im Zentrum von Holbox. 1. Most of the menu is not available, there was neither the beer I wanted nor the pasta I wanted to eat. 2. The cheaper pasta dishes were all gone so only pasta with shrimp or vegetarian was available which we ended up ordering. 3. A dead fly was swimming in the vegetarian noodles. 4. There was a medium-length brown hair in the noodles with shrimp. For 280 pesos really cheeky! 5. A 15% tip is automatically calculated on the bill. For what? 6. Bring your own beer to the beach and grab a bite to eat in central Holbox beforehand.
