T	Thomas Horvath on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Miserabler Service. Taxifahrer berechnen Preise, wie es ihnen gefällt, die vorgegebenen Preise am Fährenterminal wurden überklebt.. Bei der Rückreise buchte unser Hôtel ein Taxi, welches nie ankam. Kalkulieren Sie genug Zeit ein, um allenfalls zu Fuss zu gehen. Eine Schande für das sonst so schöne Holbox. Miserable service. Taxi drivers calculate prices as they please, the given prices at the ferry terminal have been pasted over.. On the return journey our hotel booked a taxi which never arrived. Allow enough time to walk if necessary. A shame for the otherwise beautiful Holbox.

(suivant l'éloignement de l'hôtel avec les bagages ça serait le parcours du combattant sans taxi !) Et ils le savent bien ! Malgré un affichage de prix par zone (bonne idée de base) les chauffeurs ne respectent pas ces tarifs et ajoute systématiquement 50 ou 100MXN... C'est dommage ça donne une mauvaise impression des l'arrivée à Holbox. Almost unavoidable service especially at the arrival/departure of the ferry. (depending on the distance from the hotel with the luggage, it would be an obstacle course without a taxi!) And they know it well! Despite a display of prices by zone (good basic idea) the drivers do not respect these rates and systematically add 50 or 100MXN... It's a shame it gives a bad impression upon arrival in Holbox.

They charge what they like and pay no attention to the listed prices. When we called one, and before leaving, and didn’t agree to pay $150 (more than double the listed price) he started to remove the baggage from the taxi. It’s better to just walk the island is small enough unless you have baggage.
