Holiday Inn Express Manzanillo, an IHG Hotel - 28239 Manzanillo

The location is close to the beach but you need to drive about 15 min. The breakfast was awesome. The hotel was clean and they were careful about preventing COVID spread.

Overall a great expierence, the bussines I was required to do at town, Salvador the Hotel driver was so nice and proffesional, had an excelent check in and checl out expierence, just wish there would be more options on the buffet breakfast, otherway food was good

Most important, a little sad looking but very nice and very helpful staff. A plus to them. But after staying in quite many IHG and Holiday Inn Hotels over the world including several others in Mexico, I must unfortunately say that this Hotel was a quite big dissapointment and not worth the money. Hotel has a very old feeling, old Furniture, old TV, strange smells like an old moldy house etc. No relaxing areas as most Holiday Inn's has. Just a few tables in the Reception. Breakfast was a huge dissapintment and not at all worth the money. No normal serial, no boiled eggs, No Bacon, no fresh bread etc, etc. I chose this much more expensive hotel also using my points vs a smaller much cheaper hotel closer to the beach to to give my family a nicer more luxury experience for once and it would have been better to avoid it. The hotel we moved to the day after for a third of the price was a much nicer experience so I regret not going there initially. This hotel is in need of a huge upgrade to match the pricing.

Stayed at the hotel during our road trip. As expected, got a very good service and comfortable room to sltay overnight. Staffwere very attentive and helpful. Thank you to everyobe at tge reception and restaurant for excellent service.

The attitude by the staff at the night shift is really poor. My reservation was made through the Holiday Inn Call center as I used some of my points for the first two nights, and paid the other two nights with my CC, during the reservation process, the lady told me I was going to stay in the same room (standard) with the same bed (king size), well...the ladies at the night shift when I arrived told me I had to change rooms and the information given to me to stay in the same room was not reflected in the system. I decided to speak with the lady at the front desk during the day shift, and she had a completely positive attitude and made the proper modifications to allow me stay as we originally planned without moving rooms. My recommendation is to train the night shift ladies at the front desk and give her more customer service courses or anything.

Stay was ok but no TV working. Food is ordered from other restaurants outside hotel. Not good taste and packing.

I had an awful experience with a girl in the front desk, the receptionist was rude and had no training at all at costumer service. For sure I will avoid her for the next time I visit the hotel.

I had a great experience. Very reliable & trustworthy service team - I left my phone in my room & it was returned immediately to the airport by the in house driver. I would definitely stay again
