Spacious modern comfortable room. Fantastic location right in the historic center. There's a battery of ventilators on the rooftop in front of the hotel facing calle 60. When those ventilators turn on intermittently (day and night) they make a very loud noise. In my first room the window wasn't sealed properly so all the noise came in and I asked to move the next day. In the second room the window was well shut so the noise was reduced but still present (and this window had water vapor condensation between its panes so you couldn't see anything outside). If you're not bothered by a bit of noise - this place is excellent. But if you're like me and have a problem falling asleep with ambient noise - this place is not for us, and the front desk seemed to not want to put me in a room facing the other side of the hotel. Maybe those are nicer and more expensive rooms, but hey - I'm Platinum so maybe a little upgrade? Wink wink. Breakfast was problematic on Sunday. It is not self-service at this time; you order what you want from a person at the front of the buffet. That morning there was only one person serving, and a long line of guests. It took her 3-4 minutes to serve each person, so if you were number 11 in line you stood there for some 30 minutes in waiting. The selection and quality of food were good, and the breakfast staff very nice.

I stayed for 24 nights and every day i was greeted and treated like a valuable customer. The breakfast was very good and the time of service 4 hours in the morning was great. The protocols for covid are much better than in the U.S. The employees were pros, whether serving breakfast, cleaning rooms, or dealing with the front desk. They are a fantastic group of employees making one feel wanted. The air-conditioning was amazing. The temperature would change extremely quickly when set. The only small issue was with the alarm clock. Every time one leaves the room, the electricity is cut off and that meant the clock restarted at 12 each time. Perhaps this was due to no battery in the clock. I am not sure. I still would rate the hotel as outstanding.

Isolation of rooms very good compare to many hotels in Yucatan. Here you can relax and hope a good sleep. Location is excellent in city Center.

This hotel was very easy to check into. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Plenty of amenities as well. Location was incredible and staff was very friendly when interacting with them. Breakfast was lacking some options but overall was tasty and enough for my purposes. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel while visiting Merida and we had a great experience. The front desk staff were very nice, welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. We What we love the most about this hotel it was the location. We were able to walk everywhere and were able to see all the tourist attraction in Merida. A short walk to the Progreso bus stop too, which we made a day trip out of it. If you are going to Merida, do no hesitate to book this hotel. You won’t regret. Everything was just perfect.

I cannot think of a better place to stay in Centro Merida. Fantastic employees, added to a great location, and a very clean hotel. The hotel is much more concerned with proper Covid protocols than in the States. One is treated like family here. You cannot go wrong booking this hotel.

The worst Holiday Inn I have ever been to. No hot water for 5 days, talked to front desk and manager about the issue finally after 3 days they could move me to a room with hot water but it would cost me to move?? Brother was in a different room had no hot water for 2 days then he did but he wanted a fridge but it cost extra. Breakfast not good at all coffee only available during breakfast not all day. Parking fee was told to us once we checked out it was not told to us upon check in. Had no internet in my room they had me talk to someone to set up streaming on tv after an hour was told there tv wasn't that smart to stream from my phone. There are many hotels in the downtown area that are far better. For a Holiday Inn this is the worst ever recommend staying anywhere else I have booked and traveled to many places and booked 100's of rooms for staff I do not recommend anyone stay here.

Lovely central location, a few block from the main square. Lots of restaurants in the area. The room, are simple, clean, neat and spacious. You can request how often you want to change your linens or room service. Stayed for a few extra nights not knowing what to do or go so we camped in longer than we thought and kept extending our stay without a problem. Breakfast included, nearly the same thing everyday. But was good enough, has a TV with English channels too. The receptionist and all the staff are super friendly, they did ask us if we wanted any tours and they will recommend you from their friends or on commission, I don't know, I didn't take any tours just went to places by ourselves with colectivos or from ADO. All near the centre.
