Holiday Inn Express Nuevo Laredo, an IHG Hotel - 88275 Nuevo Laredo

Secure, comfortable, ever learning staff, capable and able staff. I really appreciate them. State police barracks right next door with stationary guards posted right at the parking lot. They even poked their noses over the guardrail to be certain that I was ok. You can't beat that kind of security. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and beat any hotel within 200 miles. I had a similar experience at a 4 star hotel in San Antonio, Texas only 2 weeks ago. For twice the price. Nuevo Laredo Holiday Inn Express is reasonably priced for the area. I'd recommend becoming an IHG Guest rewards member to save more money and gain points for free stays. Holiday Inn Express has a convenience store! You can buy food and snacks and a great variety of non-alcoholic drinks (sodas and juices) from the front desk. The breakfast is outstanding. All the good stuff you need to energize your day.

i enjoyed my stay, great staff, good food, and comfortable room. i could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom which was my only issue. everything else was wonderful.

Very nice and clean. Staff excellent. Price good. Would be nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. On-site restaurant limited hours and choice of food is poor. No wine or beer. No local restaurants. In-out stay ok. Longer stay room ammenities can be improved.

As I am completing my move from the United States to just having 1 house in Mexico, it is necessary to have a good solid place to stage in Mexico. This particular Holiday Inn Express fills that need. Exceptionally comfortable rooms. The only thing I'd like to see one day is microwave ovens and refrigerators in the rooms. The general manager and the desk staff are quite nice and accommodating. None of them are long on words though, and please don't confuse that with rudeness. They are not rude. They've just been in the business for so long and gave experienced so much, that they know how to help you LONG BEFORE you're through explaining what you need. The night time room service menu is stellar and the prices are quite low. You can get a full meal for less than $6 or $7 USD. Their security is vigilant and watches out for you either in person or from behind the surveillance monitors. The state police barracks is next door and they watch the parking lot from their 24 hour stationary security patrol. It's free, extra security. Don't worry. You are safe there.

Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Rooms have great AC, I wish the bathroom had a tub and not just a shower. Breakfast is hot food and fruit, but mostly Mexican breakfast. Price is better than USA and there are no safety issues at this location

Stayed here a few weeks ago with my husband and it was very nice; it was definitely more than I thought it would be. The room was very clean and up to date; the bathroom was very nice as well. Breakfast was very good the next morning and every employee we saw greeted us. Very nice and all together worth it.

We had an emergency doctor's visit in Nuevo Laredo and being last minute all the hotels in Laredo were booked. Wife's family is from the area, so we decided to go ahead and book the room here. It was very reasonably priced and very comfortable. The only negative would be no mini fridge or microwave. Which are really small things. Overall the stay was pleasant (considering the circumstances) and we were glad we ended up staying here, since we got to know Nuevo Laredo much better (Nuevo Sol yogurt is AWESOME!). Highly recommend
