★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is in an excellent location, yet in a quiet neighborhood. There is a park kitty corner across the street. This should be rated by google as a four star hotel. It is extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. I appreciate the large bathroom and the spacious shower with plenty of hot water. I highly recommend this hotel in such a beautiful city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a little on the outskirts of the city center (and between the city center and the neighborhood of Reforma which I almost visited for a temporary Covid-era performance of Guelaguetza, but in the end I never had a reason to visit that neighborhood). The city center is a small part of town and the main plaza is a few blocks downhill. If you’re a walker, you’ll have no problem getting around. In fact, I dragged two people around who weren’t great walkers and things turned out fine. The Temple of Santo Domingo is much closer and you can even see it from our room. You need a room key to access the lobby bathroom, too. I know it’s important to patronize local businesses, but it was really nice to have this name brand option where I know what to expect. In fact, I checked out of this hotel and checked into the same brand hotel in another city the next day and the room was very similar, which is nice when you move around a lot. All staff were very gracious, the cleaning staff work hard, and the breakfast staff are nice and accommodating. Oh, there’s a tour agent who occupies a desk in the lobby. She’s nice, though not always the cheapest (but not far off). Many of these tours turn out to be shopping tours with one main attraction as an anchor. The guide will almost exclusively take you to places where he gets a kickback and you’re left scratching your head and thinking “I paid for this?” Anyway, it was a fine hotel at a great value with friendly staff who got me a taxi at 4:30 AM and offered to give me a wake-up call! And there’s a small pool. Pro tip: Request an ice bucket upon check-in if you think you’ll use one. Pro-tip 2: For some privacy, enter through the car drop-off / car park (garage) entrance. Pro-tip 3: There’s an Oxxo a three-minute walk away, but it’s in the opposite direction of town and you have to cross a relatively large street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is deceptively small on the outside but large on the inside. A nice large lobby, spacious bedroom, comfortable bed and furniture, and quiet even with the AC on. Within 5 minutes walking distance there are several food options ranging from fast food takeaway to casual and patio style dining. The central plaza is a nice bit of green space amidst the buildings ad several birds could be seen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been using this hotel for more than 10 years now every time we go to Oaxaca to visit my mother-in-law. The location is fabulous because the building sits in a very quiet corner, but still, all the tourist attractions are within walking distance.
The rooms are clean, the fixtures are in great condition, the sheets and towels are always like brand new and the staff is really friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic surprise!!
I really like this hotel with large rooms and amenities to match most 5 star hotels. Breakfast bar was a treat every morning with hot bar and cold.
Food was typical Mexican fare with wide selection.
Services were excellent.
Come here and enjoy that home feeling.
Quiet location away from downtown buzz.
Id come again
