★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 2 day stay was very comfortable. Only thing I would change is the fact that the restroom shower has no door . The water would spray outside the designated area . I already had limited towels and I would have the need to use them on the floor . Other than that , everything was great !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I flew from Mexico to stay a night in Piedras Negras.
It was a great stay and I enjoyed the room.
We did have a quick breakfast in the morning after enjoying a restful night.
I do recommend this place. No surprise and it's very affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice experience!
A little over priced so is better to look for a hotel app like Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking or something else. This was a great location! Good free parking lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After moving only 10 feet on the line to make it across the international bridge in 2 hours, we gave up and looked for a place to rest for the night and to try again tomorrow. When we arrived, it was a smooth check-in process with clean rooms and it was SUCH A RELIEF! We had been traveling for 12+ hrs and needed a break!
My only issue, which was easily avoided once you figured out the shower head, was the fact that there is no curtain/door to keep all the water in the shower. This allowed water to fall onto the floor from the shower head. My advice, keep it as a small flow and you walk into it while using your body as a shield of sorts. If this doesn’t make sense, it hopefully will once you experience it. Even with this issue, it’s still 5/5 stars.
Alright, now onto breakfast. Out of all the Holiday Inn’s I’ve stayed at, this breakfast had to be the best ever! Eggs w/ bacon, refried beans, and diced potatoes in a salsa that wasn’t spicy at all. They had COVID policies in place such as mask wearing but also provided food gloves so patrons can put it on the hands that is grabbing serving spoons or items that are high touch points while getting breakfast.
Lastly, parking is free and behind the hotel. It’s mostly fenced in with the exception of the entrance/exit. All of our belongings in our vehicle were safe and secure.
I don’t know if this was the exhaustion speaking, but it was a lovely experience all and all. Thank you for the stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beds are comfortable, the hotel is well kept and pleasing. The front desk staff is self-serving. I arrived at around 1 pm to pay for my room and present the paperwork for my husbands service dog. Next to me was an irate customer, upset because they had kicked him out of his room because the hotel had made a mistake in the reservation and double booked the same room. The man who took my payment and reviewed the paperwork refused to photo copy it then and there and instead insisted that I bring it back after 3 pm when they could give me my hotel key. After a day of running around the city we arrive tired and hungry. I approached reception to pick up my keys and I am told by the same man to bring our paperwork on the dog because they have to photocopy it. So, here is trip number one with aching feet back to the car. I bring the paperwork and while now a lady is photocopying it, I decide to pick up some snacks and have them charge it to my room, I paid with a credit card after all. Well, no. They can’t charge my room, I have to pay for the snacks right there. Walk number two with aching feet back to the room to pick up cash to pay. Come back to reception, barefoot this time, because my feet ache so much. Well, guess what, we “don’t have 400 pesos to give you back in change, so you are just going to have to bring your credit card for us to charge you 95 pesos for your snacks.” Seriously! The other girl looks in the drawer, he shows her the money they do have and she shakes her head saying no. And I must now walk back again, bear footed, and hungry because they cannot be inconvenienced by me. I didn’t come back and I won’t come back to stay here again. Hospitality is about accommodating the guests, not yourselves. Where the service ends, so does my patronage. Disappointing.
