Holiday Inn Express & Suites Puebla Angelopolis, an IHG Hotel - 72825 Tlaxcalancingo

The hotell staff really did everything to make me and my family feel fantastic during the stay. As an IHG platinum member and having experienced tons of IHG properties through the world, this time they really did an outstanding job.

Firstly this is a business hotel so look at it from that angle. Good breakfast, clean basic rooms, great internet. Gym seems pretty new and enough equipment, great view at breakfast of a volcano...it looks not so far away. Everything functions and is functional. Bed is great. It is good value and the location though out a little is I think good, with the mall there.

An average place to live. Nothing great. You neither get a freezer for drinks nor a microwave to heat food, in the room. The service is also sort of average.

A simple hotel offering a good stay with the great add on of a pool area with amazing views of the city. It is also located in a nice area with many new restaurants and different shops in case you forgot some goods back home. It does not provide food service for the whole day and only has a small shop at the reception. It is clean and provides good service over all. The breakfast is very simple and repetitive, if you are staying for a long time, you better be ready for a very repetitive option of food. The Covid regulations at this hotel are a bit extreme at some point, but too chaotic in other areas. There is a lot of people during weekends and going for breakfast becomes a bit chaotic since people can not pick up their own food (only seen done this way in Mexico at this premise). Also, the use of plastic for everything is quite sad for the environment. I can understand precaution but having people piled up for the breakfast line does not help while having plastic covering an apple or a banana is not necessary against covid. If you are traveling for a weekend or just want a simple stay, this hotel is a good option

Staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. The mini fridge was making a weird sound here and then and that woke me a couple of time during the night. Breakfast could improve a little but not a big issue.

Great Sleep, I did not wanted to get out of the room, so I decided to ask for food to a restaurant, I call the lobby before so they could either bring the food to the room or al list get it at reception, but they said no, I had to go out of the hotel and wait for the food to arrive, not so comfort after this

Great holiday inn, beautiful view from the roof. About easy 25 minute drive to Africam Safari. Probably 10 minute uber ride to the historical downtown which is very pretty with lots of restaurante. Around the hotel there seems to be restaurants as well.
