Holiday Inn Express Tapachula, an IHG Hotel - 30700 Tapachula

Excellent service. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great location. Nice breakfast. Need to add sugar/sweetener and mixing spoon for complimentary coffee/tea.

We stayed here for the first time when the hotel was brand new. It was sparkling clean then and yes it showes some wear but was still very comfortable, clean and wonderful staff. The beds were comfortable with a great selection of pillows too. We would stay here again. It is right next to the mall which makes it very convenient if you need anything from Wal-Mart etc. We arrived from Guatemala on our way back home during these difficult Covid-19 times and the staff was very kind and helpful to all of us. One thing I really liked was that the taxi rates were posted in the lobby and the front desk arranged for our early morning taxi to the airport. There was no traffic and the airport was a quick 10 minute drive.

Nice location, spacious and comfortable bed. By it requeries mantaince bathrooms specially, staff needs to improve their customer service and experience. Breakfast is really good. Parking is very safe and convenient

My colleagues and I were so happy to find this hotel that is so clean, comfortable, has a restaurant, an exercise room and a pool. The beds were so comfortable. I will not stay anyplace else when I am in this area next.

From a friendly greeting on arrival, to a great room, and overall experience, this was a most enjoyable stay. I have problems walking too much, and the staff went out of their way to recommend ways to get things done. I was very impressed with this. The hotel truly makes you feel welcome. I recommend staying at this property when in the area.

My stay was good and the staff was helpful on a basic level. On my final day, I asked for a cab to the airport. I only had a 500 peso note and asked for change. The response was an immediate no. The end. The cab came and I told him I had no change. The cab driver said no problem and after we drove away, he said he would take $20 USD (twice the fair). I asked him to stop and he would not. I told him to take me back to the hotel and he would not. He eventually stopped and I walked back to the hotel pulling my bag. It was incredibly hot and I was dripping with sweat when I returned. When I went to enter the hotel, the manager attempted to push past me to enter the lobby (he had watched me walk up the drive dripping with sweat). I told the staff what had happened and he listened. Nobody helped me and the manager just stood there. They had a shuttle but it was just sitting parked in the lot. I nearly missed my flight, but I was able to walk to Starbucks and get a cab. I would not board my dog with such corrupt, cold and apathetic people.

Clean comfortable hotel. Comfy luxurious beds. American style plumbing. Good breakfast. Lobby connected to shopping center. Very handy. Good WiFi.
