This hotel was great! My daughter and I came in for a tennis tournament and did not speak any Spanish. Octavio at the front desk spoke English and was very helpful during our stay. The Breakfast off of the menu was great—the Buffet is more Spanish style. So, lots to choose from. Miguel at Breakfast was great and remembered our order every morning. I felt very safe here and the hospitality of all the staff was amazing! Uber was a great way to get around and felt very safe. Would definitely stay here again!

Great space to have an excellent hotel. The Wellness room is absolutely trash!! I’ve tried to workout but any of the machines didn’t work. The elevator is very old and the carpets are with a lot of stains so it feels dirty.

I've stayed at much nicer Holiday Inn hotels before. The room was very old. Lighting was poor, no coffee supplies, the fridge turned off when you left the room (took the key out of the power holder.) The bed was comfortable.

Our reservation clearly stated 2 beds but upon arrival they had reserved a 1 bed room so they cancelled and booked again and our price went up which is not ethical given my original reservation had the proper number of beds. The hotel is clearly understaffed and is having a hard time keeping up with basic operations. There was a tray of food outside our neighbor's door that nobody picked up from the night we arrived until almost noon of the next day. There was a dead cockroach out side our door the next morning. The carpets are dusty and seem like they haven´t been cleaned in a long time. There is a nasty odor coming in from the drain of the shower which explains why they add odor traps covering all drainage holes. The showerhead is clogged and dirty from the hard water of the city and needs to be cleaned in order for water to flow properly. The door security lock fell off the second time we closed the door.

+ staffs are friendly + affordable + overall good pool area, water are heated - they seem do not clean the pool area and the surrounding green spaces often enough, there are leaves on the water and a lot more around the pool. at some point i saw layers of leaves stacked under the trees as if someone only sweep those leaves far enough without bothering to dispose it properly. - outdated, a lot of things i do not like from the room : 1.horrendous sound from the AC, just listen to the clips i added, how can you have a good sleep with that annoying humming sound in the night. 2.the sink is working, but the adhessive or sealing around it are loose, a bit like guey stuff or something. the most shocking thing is you could clearly notice that the bottom part of the sink were terribly patched, perhaps they have somekind of repairing work but eventualy the traces were there with the corrosive metal and wire left exposed...just see the pict. 3. bed is fluffy 4. no soap and shampoo, really weird considering cheaper hotels has it. 5. the only new thing is the tv. 6. you could hear people walking, opening door or chatting from outside the room.

The experience in this hotel was terrible and not worthy of the Holiday Inn name. Let me explain in detail: The Good: staff was super friendly, location is great, the hotel itself is very nice, beautiful pool and garden, food for breakfast was also great and the hotel follows all COVID-19 cleanliness recommendations. The Bad: our reservation clearly stated 2 beds but upon arrival they had reserved a 1 bed room so they cancelled and booked again and our price went up which is not ethical given my original reservation had the proper number of beds. I am not making this up, I have attached the pictures as evidence. I understand hotels and tourism have been hit by the pandemic but really until they go back to proper maintenance I cannot recommend this hotel to any guest.
