Holiday Inn Tlaxcala, an IHG Hotel - 90459 Tlaxcala

Excellent facilities and with a very cozy old style. Quite large rooms and a good restaurant

Okay: The excellent staff in their attention and kindness especially the restaurant. Very good food, they have good menu options. BAD: *Recently remodeled or not, there is no excuse for an IHG hotel to block you for 19 days as an open boucher at my check-in. *This amount did not serve more than to block my card, since I could never charge the room and they charged me at home to another. *They do not accept american express. *Of all the services they advertise, most are planned, not active. *Room has air conditioning, not heating, and in Tlaxcala it is necessary. *it took 19 days to solve the blocking problem with several promises of 4 days in 4 days ("skillful" that's the secret)

The pros: very good service, acceptably clean rooms although the carpets are stained, beautiful views of nature and delicious food. The cons: Things are not installed properly yet, the phone is not working, they cannot bill and they have problems with the charges, therefore, the check out took me more than 25 minutes, carrying my backpack because there were no buttons available either.

The excellent hotel, the rooms very clean and of a good size, the service super, the staff very friendly and helpful. The food is not the richest but it is not bad and its prices are affordable, the restaurant is nice

A place to enjoy nature, well-preserved green areas and a waterfall worthy of admiration (although it is no longer navigable). For parties or business meetings, your room is wonderful.

In general it is a good hotel, for those who visited it when it was a mission and expect to find the colonial style that is almost forgotten. The pool was a bit cold and it was Easter time, the steam is still not working. The gym has good space with only a treadmill but very good. It no longer has bathtubs, now it is a pure shower. In the service they are new but they make you want. The suspension bridge and zip line are very cool until you forget that the waterfall is made of sewage (it doesn't smell bad anymore), the cost is $350 for two people. The restaurant has good dishes ?. The tennis court is only one and it costs $250 an hour. The bar, that is ugly lol it looks like a mini restaurant, and it seems that it is not working. The games for super cool children, in addition to the garden on the second floor, there is a very fun toy library, even as an adult it makes you want to play. Check in is at 3:00 pm. If this father, although the truth is, I would wait another year to stay so that it is really worth it and they already have all the services at 100, although of course it does not detract from how well I had the weekend.

In general, the whole hotel looks clean and modern, the rooms are very well equipped and decorated, the restaurant is very good and the prices are reasonable. The pool would be much better if it wasn't cold. It has an extraordinary children's play area. The staff should be more friendly and that is why I am not giving it 5 stars, I asked if there was availability of late checkout for IhG Gold, they told me no and it is totally acceptable, but they were very rude, it seems that I offended them with such a request.
