If you need to invest, they are going to show you the properties that fit your requirements and wishes. They will show the math. Return on Investment. They will educate you. If you are planning your retirement, they are going to show you properties close to the urban area, where the Hospitals and commerce is. But if you are young and prefer to be close to the beach or the good restaurants, they are going to show you Telchat or downtown Merida. They don’t show you properties that they don’t feel it is safe to negotiate. They do the research first that the property is legal and ready to sell. Before wasting your time you will be invited to stop at their office to understand your needs. They will research directly from “catastro” what the property legal status is. If this land is “Ejido”. They will educate you so can make an informed decision. I was so lucky to meet Jesus Chui Gastelum. He is an angel. He loves to help people. Very humble. After almost a week I asked about his background and I got shocked. He is graduated from the best universities in the world. Has an MBA. Has Certificates from US, Ireland, China…..but he never talked about it. He doesn’t need it. He shows you daily with actions how much he knows. You can talk with him about Real Estate, Economy, culture in different countries….you name it. Most important he has a lot of partners that will help you. Example migration attorneys, Notaries, bankers, architects, engineers, developers, and I am sure that in the future when I finally move to Merida he will recommend me the best dentist, doctors, plumber….You will save money and you will be protected. We’re currently searching for a home in Merida and Jesus has gone above and beyond while helping us to explore neighborhoods and search for homes.
