Beautiful Cenote, the guide Alex along with all his knowledge is worth visiting the cenote. It is not so much for swimming but more like a therapy, ritual or cleanse.

Amazing, you have to hold your breath under water to get in, they pray in Maya and turn the lights off while you float inside the cenote cave

This is not a busy cenote for swimming. You have to crawl through a small hole and the cenote itself is small and features three large stalagmites/tites. It’s more of a floating experience in the water. Then your Mayan host turns the lights off and you are surrounded by utter darkness for five minutes and it is amazing and borderline psychedelic. Deeply cool. 50 pesos.
