★ ★ ★ ★ ★ while in Palenque I saw that there are many beautiful ranches around. Unfortunately I couldn't find any riding. I found La Chiapaneca by asking the locals so I added this on Google Map to make it easy to find for others. A bit expensive, 500 MXN per horse per hour including guide. But this beautiful landscape makes it definitely worth it. Go to the La chiapaneca restaurant, ask for the owner Seniora Teresa and get on the horse!
