About Hospital de la Luz

Creada en el año de 1876, La Fundación Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Luz es una Institución de Asistencia Privada que atiende a personas con enfermedades de los ojos y discapacidad visual. Durante sus 145 años de existencia ha sido una importante protagonista de la oftalmología en México, tanto por el nivel y calidad de atención, como por el número de pacientes atendidos y por su importante participación en la formación de médicos oftalmólogos.

Es considerado como el primer hospital especializado en enfermedades de los ojos en América Latina por lo que no se puede hablar de la historia de la oftalmología en México, sin hablar del Hospital de la Luz, así como tampoco se puede hablar de una asistencia en el campo de la salud visual sin hacer referencia a nuestra institución.

Después de 5 consultas y estudios, medicen que si son cataratas, hay que operar!, otros estudios, cita con cardiólogo, anestesia, (cada uno en días diferentes y pagar consulta) ya hice todo. Pues otra cita (y pagar) para que me programen, la consulta en dos meses. NO LO RECOMIENDO!!! ???? Bad service!!! Lots of appointments!!! After 5 consultations and studies, they measure that if they are cataracts, it is necessary to operate!, other studies, appointment with a cardiologist, anesthesia, (each one on different days and paying for the consultation) I have already done everything. Well, another appointment (and pay) to be scheduled, the consultation in two months. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!! ????

Me recetaron gotas para una “blefaritis” que no tenía. Dio mal diagnóstico. Sólo perdí mi tiempo y dinero. M	Maly Leon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En lo personal me a ido bien me citan a las 8 en córnea me atienden 8:30 pues son varios a la misma hora de ahí paso a la orbita con cita a las 11 pero entrego papeles a las 9 y entró 9:30 salgo a las 10 voy por la segunda cirugía de mi hija, lo único malo de aquí es que dan las citas muy lejos, me dijeron que la 2 cirugía era de urgencia! La persona que ayuda en casa fué por cataratas y le cooperamos para ambos ojos, cada uno arriba de 20 mil pesos. Además nunca le explicaron, se tardaron meses entre un análisis y ejecutar la operación, ya le querían cobrar de nueva cuenta los estudios, las dejaron sentadas por horas en el frío, cuando terminó la operación casi las corrieron del cuarto porque se tenían que ir las enfermeras. En fin que ha sido la peor experiencia para la persona que ayuda en casa. De haber sabido la hubiera llevado a una consulta privada, me sale lo mismo y sin hacer corajes. Appalling. Hoy me hicieron mi segunda cirugía en mi ojo derecho y gracias a Dios todo salió muy bien. Felicitaciones a todos los doctores y también al personal. J	Janette Pacheco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EL PEOR HOSPITAL QUE PUEDES ELEGIR PARA OPERACIÓN LASIK quede desepcionada, desilucionada a semanas de mi operación puedo decir que es el PEOR "hospital" que puedes elegir para sirugia lasik, me desgraciaron un ojo a mitad de mi operación el dIchoso doctor (fer) tuvo que llamar a otro doctor para que arreglara la cirugía que el no pudo hacer NEGLIGENCIA MEDICA EN SU ALTO RESPLANDOR me dejaron en camilla esperando a que llegara otro doctor con la cornea cortada y me dejaron una marca roja en el ojo. Hoy dia sigo viendo borroso puedo decir que mi ojo empeoro y lo peor de todo es qie todavia se dan el "lujo" y gran descaro de ofrecerte un "retoque" $$

El café no es muy bueno y las alternativas de comida no son atractivas pero al menos sus sillas tienen respaldo y hacen más cómoda la espera. A good option to wait for patients' turn in the Hospital. Si eres acompañante no te dejan pasar a amenos que sea necesaria tu compañía para tu familiar, te recomiendo traigas una silla o banco para esperar afuera del edificio, ya si no traes silla o banco NTP que afuera te rentan un banco por solo $10 pesos. Si no desayunaste hay puestos de comida afuera del hospital o bien un restaurante frente al mismo. Los protocolos de sanidad son cubre bocas todo el tiempo, toma de temperatura y gel antibacterial a la entrada d l edificio... La atención en cuanto a rapidez y calidad aún no se ya que sigo esperando a mi familiar para que me diga cómo estuvo la atención jeje... There is parking next to the Hospital, $50 pesos free time.
