No respetan las reservaciones, nadamás te descuidas tantito y ofrecen tu cama a otras personas aunque ya hayas puesto tus cosas en ella, después al reclamar a la encargada hasta amenazas hace la señora

Great place, located in a really central location. Friendly service. Anytime I visit the city I stay here.

Zero Stars. Disgusting place. The lady was friendly but thats it. No hot water, no towel, dripping ceiling in room, cigarette butts on the balcony everywhere. Absolutely revolting place. I returned to pick up my bag and would not let me use the bathroom. Book somewhere else. To be honest the center of of Guanajuato is full of nasty hostels. Get a hotel and avoid a nasty experience. Why cant I give zero stars here ?? This place doesnt deserve a star. Ay, por cierto, un par de palabras en Espanol.. El sitio mas asqueroso donde he quedado en mi vida. Una mierda bajo techo. Vayanse a otro sitio. Y Senora, si alguien pide usar un bano, es porque quieren usar un bano. Me parece una pesadilla este sitio, que tristeza....

After traveling for three months in Mexico, I have found the most horrible hostal in the country. I could go on and on about this terrible place, but, in order to save time, I will focus on the key points: 1. Water drips into the rooms through holes in the ceiling. 2. The owners didn't honor our reservation for the one private room with bathroom because another family came and was willing to pay more for the same room. 3. The internal and external noise in the room during the night makes sleeping impossible. 4. The rooms and building are filthy and completely rundown. 5. The kitchen is unusable with no forks (lots of knives and spoons, but no forks!) and no pots and pans. Our food in the refrigerator was frozen when we removed it the next day. 6. No hot water in the shower which is completely disgusting, as is the bathroom itself. 7. Beds are uncomfortable and electric sockets don't work. Avoid this place or pay the price. Good luck.
