★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best hostel in Comitan or one of the best in Chiapas for everything including cleanliness, hospitality from the owners Andrea & Oscar, meals served at the small restaurant that’s parts of the hostel are very economic & delicious. They pay attention to every little request, rooms are bful & comfy new mattress. I stopped for two nights during my bicycle trip to Lagunes de Montebello and would return for sure

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greeted with warmth upon arriving un-announced. Comfortable room, lounge and small food prep area with fridge. Restaurant service initially didn't offer much for vegetarian food, so they made us a cute lil salad on the house! Location is not central as noted in another review, though enjoying a coffee in the beautiful main square is only a 10 min walk away. Did wish drinking water was more readily accesible, and that the spacious bathroom was more thoroughly cleaned, but all and all a great visit at Casa Del Sol! Thanks for the lift to the bus terminal on our way out of town ?!

The owner and staff are super nice was extremely helpful with planning my trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Comitan.
