★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place we have stayed in Mexico. The owner is so helpful and hospitable and really goes above and beyond. My partner lost his passport whilst there and he went out of his way to get it back to him. The rooms are very comfortable, the whole place is super clean, the breakfast in the morning is amazing, and all at incredible prices. You have to stay here when in Oaxaca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hostal Mixteco Naba Nandoo is a ‘budget’ hostel but only in price, not quality at which it excels. It is a wonderful, clean and centrally located spot. The folks that run it along with their staff are lovely and run a tight ship; the bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day, the inexpensive house breakfast options are delicious and they are super helpful with referrals to possible tour options, how to get around town independently as well as into the valley, etc. I feel especially lucky to have had this place be my first landing spot in the beautiful city of Oaxaca. For price meets location, quality and warmth of the owners & staff it simply can’t be beat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful hostel in a very central location. Super cheap price for private rooms! It's kept super clean, the roof top terrace is amazing, places to work and even a chill room with a TV. Nice and quite but still social. Lots of free things like tea, coffee, water, snacks and even mescal. Feel so lucky to have found this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a nice place, the host in extremely helpful and friendly. The place was generally clean and we loved the breakfast which you could buy at reception. The rooftop terrace was lovely for relaxing a bit before going to bed. It was a bit annoying that sometimes there was a bad smell in the room and we didn’t have a window to open. Price wise it is more than perfect. All in all I would recommend this place and would probably stay here again :)
