No hot water, the toilets wont flush, they do not accept credit card, the atm is about 15 minutes walk , the only thing nice was the receptionist who make tattoos

Amazing place. Very good value for this familly owned hostel! The garden/swimming pool is awesome and rooms are clean and beautifull (we have got the cabanas which was remote and quite)

We have had a very nice room with a balcony.. Super comfortable bed and clean.. Breakfast standard but ok. Good location. Very friendly and helpful receptionist.

Check in was so difficult, some of the staff didn’t understand much English and they were confused why we had two different bookings (the hotel room wasn’t available the second night we needed so we got a different room) the first room (pictured) was gorgeous and we loved it! The second room was not good (weird considering it was more expensive?) there’s a lot to say about this hotel so here’s my cliff notes: Bad: - second room shower looked discoloured and dirty - pool water turned my hair green (Watch out If you dye your hair blonde!) - communal bathrooms light was flickering, nearly seizure inducing - bike rentals were cheap (100 pesos/day) but they are in disrepair - beds are quite hard (I liked it but that’s just me) - “breakfast” is literally bread and cereal with some fruits and instant coffee. - wifi didn’t work in the jungle room section, we had to sit outside in the common area to use wifi. Good: - located in town close to Main Street - pool and jungle vibe was cool - loves the hammocks! - it’s family run - THERES AN ADORABLE TODDLER RUNNING AROUND! please say hola and tell her she’s the sweetest angel!! I’d probably pick a different hotel next time but it was passable.

By far the nicest and cleanest place we have stayed in Tulum. A very private and secure price of property with high walls. Well kept, pool, very clean room and they did not cheap out on any fixtures. Nice toilets, sinks, hot water, minimal speed WiFi, hammocks out to sit in, many trees and plants give it a jungle feel. Breakfast was toast with jam, dry cereal, and fruit. Instant coffee. Bed was comfy. Only got to stay 1 day but it was great. They did try to charge us 2600 pesos for the night when we walked over and inquired and looked at it, but I had originally found it on Expedia for $42 (860$ pesos) which is where I originally found the place but looked at it before booking. They wouldn’t match the price, so I booked through Expedia and got it for the cheaper. Highly recommend but book online early. We found the only day available for the family suite which for 4 people, got lucky last minute. Very expensive and full in tulum during December January

My husband had some US dollars hidden away in the room and we came back to 50 USD dollars missing. The whole experience was really weird and awkward as the guy working at the front desk didn't really help much on the day about the missing mobey and assumed we were checking out early - as in if we leave early, he won't have to deal with the whole issue. Money was hidden away and wasn't left visibly, so whoever cleaned the room must have been looking through the stuff and taken it. Eventually though, they have resolved it and although we are still unsure who stole the money, the guy gave us the money back. But it felt very awkward as it was obvious they were talking about us. What was even worse after he gave us the money back, he asked us to write a good review. I told him that I wasn't going to lie about this situation and be honest in my review. It was a real shame because we actually liked the place: the room as well as the pool area were really nice. Unfortunately, after the money incident it didn't feel safe and secure any more.

I had the private king suite. Room had good amenities private bathroom, microwave, fridge, ac and a safe, TV which was unexpected. Nice clean pool and clean common areas. Attentive staff FYI who do not speak English , for me it was not problem Breakfast was cornflakes and instant coffee with warm milk. I had a 4 day reservation left after one night. The room was very damp and had a overwhelming smell of mold and I slept horribly even with the AC on 24/7 the room was still Very very damp. There is a huge gap in the door which allows tons of mosquitos to get in. The bamboo headboards were infested with termites, you could see the sawdust pile up on it!! The room keeps almost no noise out. I live on a busy street at home and and normally not botherd by noise, but you can here the ppl in the room next to you have a conversation. I also saw a bed bug on my bed. This room was so moldy it was making me feel sick. It's a shame because it really could be a nice spot. However the things that are wrong are just too important, and can't be overlooked.

Not a good hostel at all! I have to say first the girl in the reception is super kind and sweet and she don't have any fault of the bad management of the hostel. After this i must say that they know that they have bedbugs in at least a room with 8 beds for a while and the manager continues to accept reservations and leave the guest sleeping on that room! this is not acceptable and shame on you for having that attitude. Be professional if you can and solve the problem. Guests pay to be safe and having a nice stay at the hostel .
