Hace más de 12 años estuve allí mientras hacia proyectos de rehabilitación urbana Excelente lugar!

Es un lugar muí agradable. Encantado de la hospitalidad. Tanto q mi desahiuno. un platito de fruta y un juguito me cayó súper bien. Le pregunte cuanto es de la fruta y me dijo que no era nada.... Así q en manera de agradecerle le regale un ? de cabello. Al mi buen amigo (Romualdo)

La ubicación es buena, los empleados muy atentos, los dueños no lo son en absoluto, el precio me parece caro, a pesar del descuento que me ofrecieron. Porque solicité reserva de una habitación privada y no cumplieron con lo que yo solicité, porque el baño estaba afuera de la habitación, jamas hicieron el aseo, estoy de acuerdo, que es un hostal y la limpieza no se hace a diario, pero si por lo menos cada 2 días se asean los cuartos. Bueno al menos eso hacen en otros hostales de Mérida, México y el mundo. Además el ruido es espantoso de miércoles a domingo porque son vecinos del Mayan Pub. No es recomendable. No se puede descansar.

El trato es bastante amable, el precio es accesible y tienen buenas condiciones. Aunque obviamente los baños y regaderas son compartidas. Si no van de forma austera, recomendaría más un hotel pues ahí no compartes con nadie y si eliges bien, tienen mejores camas. Aquí en particular, la cama que me tocó, estaba bastante cómoda para el tipo de lugar. No cuenta con aire acondicionado pero sí con ventilador.

Very good environment and the furniture is very nice too.

I am not one to leave bad reviews.... But this one was pretty awful. A "private" room was a little less $ than 2 dorm beds so we opted for that, but it was not private at all. The room was inside the dorm room and had no celling and walls that only went 1/2 way up the dorm room walls. The lights went on multiple times in the middle of the night (which COMPLETELY lights up our room), and once was the man at the front desk who turned it on to use the only men's bathroom (also located in the dorm room) and he left it on when he was finished. This was after 11pm. We had to ask for sheets as our bed was not made completely, and people in the dorms had the same problem. And there was a jar soliciting tips on the bedside table!! Toilet paper is NOT provided in the bathrooms. Showerheads were completely rusted. The most unsettling part of this was that there is a security camera IN the dorm room, COMPLETELY in view from everywhere inside our tiny private room. The comunal kitchen was filthy even though there was almost no one staying at the hostel. The sink was overflowing with dirty dishes, molding raw cooking ingredients all over the counters and in random cupboards. Infested with fruit flies and other insects. I assume the included breakfast came from that kitchen as it was just a small plate of slightly foul-smelling sliced fruit and two pieces of bread. Nothing like the breakfast pictured in other reviews on here. The price is lower than other hostels in the area, and the bed was comfortable and clean. Other than that, an accutely unpleasant experience. Perhaps this hostel has gone downhill in the last couple months? We left after one night and would not stay again.

It's fine. Cheaper than other options but you get what you pay for... The kitchen for guests to cook is legitimately disgusting. The camera in the dorm room is creepy and it might be able to see me and my girlfriend in our "private room" the wall of which only goes half way to the ceiling. Our room is very tiny but the bed and pillows are fine. The WiFi works. The place on the whole is disappointing, very few people here and no atmosphere. No toilet paper provided in the bathrooms and no sheets on our bed until we asked for them. I wouldn't stay again, it's definitely not good but not abysmal. Free breakfast from 8-10 consists of toast and fruit.
