Clean and comfortable. Good location. Good price. Could be more bathrooms and the beds are a bit uncomfortable. Appreciated the locker and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

It is well located as it is downtown, inside the surrounding walls. Close to the market, main plaza and a little supermarket. It has dorms with fans and Aircon. Each bed has individual lights and plugs. You have to ask reception to turn on the Aircon. The bathrooms are clean and have a shower and a toilet. There is only 5 to share with 20 guests. It has a useful kitchen next to the hammock area. The staff are friendly. You can rent a bike for 15 pesos per hour and cycle around the malecon. It includes breakfast but you have to make it. I recommend waking up early as the kitchen area is not too big and there is not enough food. Good WiFi signal. I don't know the cost of living in Campeche, but I think this hostel is overpriced. After two nights in a dorm we were asked to move to another dorm as a big group was staying in the hostel. Due to the number of toilets, and the size of the kitchen, I can imagine that it is difficult to stay there when the place is fully booked.

Viatger Inn is a simple, clean, newer and modern hostel located in a colonial building in Campeche's colourful historic centre. The hostel was well situated and there were banks, restaurants, and shopping within walking distance. The first class ADO bus terminal is located a few kilometres south of the city centre and a taxi costs 35-40 pesos to the hostel. I stayed at Viatger Inn for two nights in November 2015 as a solo traveler in the 12 bed mixed dorm. Campeche is a beautiful and quiet city with lots of culture, history and colourful buildings. The city is great for those who are looking for a peaceful place to spend some time relaxing, wandering the cobblestone streets, and admiring the lovely architecture, well-maintained waterfront and walls surrounding the centre. The city also makes a great base for exploring the nearby ruins of Edzna, among other smaller ruins sites. The bunk beds in the mixed dorm are situated very close to each other, but since there were only a few people staying in the dorm during my stay, it wasn’t a problem (But if the dorm was full, it could feel very crowded). The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable and each bed had its own reading lamp and three-pronged electrical outlet (these are difficult to find in Mexico), which I enjoyed. Each bed also had a large locker (you have to bring your own lock). There is air conditioning in the dorm and the staff turn it on during the night. My only complaint about this is, is that the staff are the only ones who have control over the AC and the dorm got very cold in the night, to the point where I would wake up shivering in the middle of the night. It would be nice if those of us staying in the dorm could have control of the AC instead. The thin sheet that is provided to you was definitely not enough to keep warm in the night, so I would suggest wearing some thicker clothes or using a blanket or towel to stay warm. A simple breakfast was offered that included some fruit, yogurt and cereal with milk. It wasn’t much to stay satisfied for long, so I would suggest purchasing some groceries to complement the hostel’s breakfast. Although the staff spoke limited English, they were all so friendly, warm and helpful. They were always available to answer any questions that you may have about Campeche. The Wi-Fi signal was very strong in the indoor TV lounge and outdoor terrace areas of the hostel, and the connection was good enough for me to be able to make Skype phone calls home. Unfortunately, the signal did not reach to the dorm. All areas of the hostel were always super clean and everything was new. The washrooms were amazing! The water temperature was immediately and consistently hot and the water pressure was consistently strong – it was the best that I experiencing during my Yucatan travels! In terms of common areas, the hostel has an indoor lounge with couches and a flat-screen cable television, and an outdoor terrace with patio tables, chairs and hammocks, as well as a fully equipped shared kitchen. Even though there were not many guests here during my stay, I still met some amazing friends! The hostel has a very social, friendly and relaxed vibe. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Viatger Inn and Campeche was a wonderful city to explore! I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Campeche.

More expensive than the average hostel in Mexico but very nice and clean with a good kitchen for cooking and friendly staff. A bit lacking in communal atmosphere and smells a bit musty in the bathrooms, but overall a pleasant stay. Good AC and wifi!

If youre looking for a good hostel/dormrooms this is the one :D .. The staff is serviceminded and speaks English, the dorm rooms are fine with a/c and fan. Great chilling areas, good wifi and you can cook your own food :) The only negativ thing about the place, is that the place is very sounded ?

Excellent hostel. The dorms are big, the bunk beds are beautifully made in wood, the mattresses are clean and so are the sheets; and a big plus is that the rooms have air conditioning, a blessing in such hot climates. Big TV in a cozy living room. Gorgeous backyard with tables and chairs with a big umbrella and there's space for yoga or other workouts. They have a couple hammocks for you to use as well as a big table for large groups. Bathrooms are kept super clean and they just finished building a kitchen for you to use. They are in process of making a laundry area. The building looks fairly new. Breakfast is included in the form of toast with milk, jelly and bananas. You can get free instant coffee during the day. Some people complain about the breakfast options (or lack thereof) but, really, considering all the amenities for 200 pesos a day you really can't ask for better (and, in fact, with most hostels you generally get inferior service for a higher price). I for one love the place and wouldn't doubt staying there again (even if I wasn't broke). The host is also helpful, sweet and understanding. It seems that they do care about their reputation and about your backpacking constraints; they treat you like an important costumer. Lovely people. All the best!

Really nice comfortable and clean hostel in a great location. Staff are friendly and helpful (and speak English). The breakfast is pretty good and there’s a kitchen for cooking. Price is reasonable - I just turned up rather than booking on hostelworld and the price was cheaper (250 per night).

Lovely staff, nice place, clean, calm, center of city with private parking for guests. The kitchen is really like home kitchen, there is everything you need. I just put one star less because of the matrass, you can feel the iron inside it. I asked 2 other girls they said the same. Everything great except that.
