★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time at Tribu hostel. We book a private room from their website. We received a really great welcome. All amenities were available. Poor Wi-Fi but not really needed ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really good option at Holbox with a friendly staff, several activities to meet people, and satisfactory clean rooms for a hostel. The bar upstairs is nice bit definitely very noisy up to 1 AM

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful hostel with amazing staff! Hands down the best hostel in holbox. They organise activities each day and offer yoga/ bootcamp for free. Really easy to meet people as a solo traveler. Definitely will be back

Great place to meet people with very active volunteers and lots of activities. Great garden with lots of hammocks and the beach is just around the corner.
Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had so many question about the island and about the bioluminescence event. It was Maya and Paula that answered my questions with so many details and not once did I feel like I was being a pest. These two individuals were so helpful and had an upbeat attitude. They made the stay very pleasant. If you see this Maya and Paula thank you so much for being helpful to me and Linda, we had a great time at the hostel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hostel has a very good location in the middle of the island. As well the staff is very friendly and the public space is quite nice.
However for the high price they charge for the dorms (up to 40 US Dollars) the rooms are very small and quite basic. Furthermore the WiFi is not working in the rooms and you even have to make the bed on your own. Even in the 10 US Dollar hostels in Mexico the beds were already prepared.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I truly enjoyed my stay in a private room at this lovely hostel. The room was the perfect size for me and cleaned every day! The staff was amazingly sweet and helpful & always had answers to my many many questions and offered great recommendations for activities and local restaurants! Thanks for making my (too short!) stay so memorable. I can’t wait to come back to Isla Holbox & hope to stay with y’all again one day soon.
