Puerto Vallarta Downtown Hostel. Ideally located just a few steps from the famous boardwalk of Puerto Vallarta, you won’t need a taxi to go partying. The best bars, nightclubs and restaurants are a short distance away from the inn.

I loved staying here! Just a warm vibe and so colorful! I spent my birthday weekend and Alejandra and all the residents made my special day super magical! I loved meeting so many people from across Mexico and other parts of the world; sharing stories is so much fun! Thank you for having me :)

Staff friendly but my private room was not very clean. There were little bugs crawling around and the bathroom had hair and grime and could use a good scrub. Good location.

The volunteers were friendly, helpful and fun. The rooms are okay, the rooftop terrace is really cozy, BUT the manager, Alejandra, is a hateful woman. She accused me of breaking her iPhone and tried to make me pay for it and was just rude from the beginning to the end of our stay. She does the same thing to other guests as well.

A bit of an older building but because of the volunteers, 5 stars. They really care about the space and each other. It's nice to have a welcoming space and join an existing group of open friends than a closed hostel. I went to one and it was not a 10, it was a 5. With a collection of hostels all on the same street, relationships and good connections add to the quality of the trip and make it easy to navigate this hostel. The rooftop is nice and even cooler that you really don't need to leave the hostel because alot of the fun happens in the hostel and everyone is like family. Really happy to have friendly people during some of my business/nomad/digi/life. There are times to close and times to remain or just open back up. Step into the light Carol Anne. Stop reading this review and life your life a few days on the beach. It is nice here, just book already. Xx

Best hostel in Mexico. Great people, great view. Free coffee and pancakes in the morning and usually paid breakfast is offered.

Unpleasant unhelpful staff made an online booking for 2 nights. Arrived and they have over booked unwilling to give a full refund or even phone nearby hostels to secure me a bed. Shocking staff and attitude to guest's. I have a booking with confirmation but they over sell beds. Left without a confirmation of cancelled room on their part. No respect for guests and room conditions look unpleasant. The hostel is still listing on booking websites with available rooms even though they know they are full. Nobody has the common sense to remove the listings and sort the issue out. The owner pretends she is not the owner and hides away from her problems. Crazy for a service industry that should be bassed on customer satisfaction

Great grounds. Amazing staff, and in heart of Vallarta. Super chill and spacious.

Terrible staff. After the first night they told me to leave and we're unwilling to refund my payment for the other nights. By the way this was because I showered 'too long' and it was 'the last straw'. Someone had left in the middle of the night which seemed odd, but after I experienced the attitude of the staff it was obvious why. Not wanting to argue with a man child over a small amount of money I just left. Still not the worst hostel experience I've had in Puerto Vallarta. If you stay here you'll probably be the most intelligent person there but you'll definitely feel stupid when you leave because I told you so.
