Hostik Hostal - 97000 Mérida

Really nice hostel! You can see that everything is relatively new and the rooms are nicely furnished. The employees are really nice and helpful as well.

I've stayed in several hostels and this one might be one of the top 3-5 best hostels I've been to. The places is stylish, offers free breakfast and has an amazing pool. I loved the low background music and the vibe in general, would love to come back to it when I'm in Merida

Staff are so nice! Breakfast is incredible! My stay here was so nice, great bed, pool and common area. Definitely worth the price! Met such a great people

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in, truly wish we would have stayed here our entire trip the private room is nice and cozy and comes with towels bathrooms are clean and nice the staff have been a wonderful help our entire time helping us with anything we need or have questions about while we stayed 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Hostik is a nice, clean hostel with good facilities. However, the service was quite underwhelming. Every time there was a different person at the reception desk and often they couldn’t/wouldn’t really answer our or help with questions. We also didn’t get any introduction or help checking in so we felt a bit lost. The worst experience was when our airpods were missing. We left them in the room when we were leaving for a day-tour. The ‘Find my iphone’ app had send a message in the early-morning that my airpods were left behind as soon as we left the hostel. When I realized later that my AirPods were missing I could see that they were already in a surburb of Merida that afternoon! When talking to Hostik Hostel they said they would ask if anyone had seen them (obviously not) but they trusted their cleaning staff anyhow because there have never ever before been any incidents. They said the police wouldn’t do a thing but we could try it if we wanted. Then the airpods went offline.. To summarize, Hostik Hostel is OK but don’t expect too much from the service (TBH: we felt much more welcome in Che Nomadas where we went after). And.. watch your stuff carefully!

Beautiful hostel with very good breakfast, comfortable beds and friendly staff! Loved the morning rooftop yoga too! Would loved to have stayed longer and have already recommended to friends.

The hostel is really nice and beautiful but they have more the hotel’s value than hostel. We spent 3 days there and the staff monopolized the kitchen between 6pm-10pm to sell you cocktail and food so we cannot cook before 10pm... You cannot bring beers from outside you have to consume their beers ! Usually, we spent time to hostel to cook and spend less money but here is not possible. Volunteers are much more friendly than staff !!!

This hostel is beautiful! Very clean compared to other hostels I’ve stayed at. The free breakfast is great and the volunteers are so friendly. It was so easy to make friends here and everyday I had something to do with friends from the hostel. I drank beers from outside of the hostel and didn’t have a problem.
