Hotel Abastos Plaza - 09040 Ciudad de México

The hotel is not an expensive one for sure, but it lacks some very basic facilities and services. Because the hotel owners do not wish to pay for a few Muti-lingual staff, unless you are a Spanish speaker, don’t even think about staying here, as no staff, not one, speak any English! The hotel does offer a free breakfast, parking and wifi ( which works if it allows you to connect to it) However, it is located in a less than nice part of the city, especially during the evening. When you see daytime armed guards with machine guns, patrolling inside the local WALMART store, located just across the street, you know, it’s not a great area! But there again, no area in Mexico City is safe. Or pollution free. Lots of minor things add up to this hotel being a big disappointment. Irons that are fixed to the wall. So you have to iron where it is… I guess guests stole the irons? Hot water that is barely tepid or clean. Freezing cold floor tiles, which I am sure is okay in the summer months. Windows that don’t lock (1st Floor) and are not double glazed, so you get the traffic and booming music 24/7 Free breakfast is included, but they will try and charge you for this. A centrally located dining area/bar, which has live music almost on a daily basis, and adds to the noise levels inside the rooms. Not worth even $50 a night.

Although it's located in Iztapalapa, the surrounding area is very tranquil. I chose this hotel because I had an early flight. Check in was effortless, I only needed to give my last name. The room was clean, spacious, and modernly decorated. I had to call the front desk to get the wifi. The wifi signal was strong. The water pressure in the bathroom was great! The hot water was hot, the cold water was cold. Since I had an early flight, I had the front desk arrange a transport for me, which they did. The transport was a private car and we arranged the fare before I entered the vehicle. The only thing I could suggest is taking out the photocell in the entrance. There is an iron and an ironing board in the room I was in. However the iron was not very mobile as it was permanently plugged into the wall. The photocell, which switches on the light by

We stayed here a couple weeks ago and let me tell you such an amazing hotel. From start to finish this hotel and it's staff were super professional . The area is a little questionable but nothing to worry. Very convenient shopping plaza nearby . Just overall a tremendous big appluse to the people working there. Will definitely be staying here again next vacation.

Great place for a great price that includes a delicious breakfast. The room we stayed was really comfortable and didn't smell like old lingering smoke or anything and was located about twenty minutes from the airport. Service was phenomenal with excellent and professional people.

Great location for attending Autódromo events. Not within walking distance of any sight seeing but easily accessible via Uber or Taxi and close to the airport. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Room service is available 24 hours. The walls are a bit thin, so if you're a light sleeper this might be an issue. This is a great value hotel in this area.

I thought the room price was really good value. Room had modern lights and motion sensors. Everything turns on when you come in and bathroom / shower was spacious.

My family and I stayed for 4 days and enjoyed the stay. The breakfast was good, The staff were very nice and the hotel was clean. Crispin was very attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the hotel for one night and really liked it! The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is delicious and the staff really nice. We also tried the massages with Eugenia and it was perfect! Eugenia is really gifted at this and helped us relax a lot. We really recommend the hotel and the massages :)
