★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room is great, but the free WiFi is one of those systems which asks you for password via captive portal every hour or so, which is annoying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Alteza was clean, comfortable, and quiet, located a block from the office in Mexico City. Great price to stay in the middle of Polanco. Staff was super friendly and accomodating

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been less than 12 hours in the hotel and already somebody broke into my room while I was in there. I arrived at 5 a.m. in the morning and only wanted to sleep. The guy didn't check if there was somebody in the room before entering. I could have been naked in there and they wouldn't have cared seems to me. I contacted reception to ask for an explanation and it was honestly a pretty lame one.
Looking on internet this seems to be a common procedure at this hotel, people breaking into the rooms without checking first. Pretty rude and unprofessional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay in Polanco, I usually stay in known hotel chains, so I was skeptical about this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised, by the friendly staff, spacious and neat rooms, and the nice restaurant in the top floor.
Within walking distance of Pabellon polanco and other shopping centers.
Would definitely stay in Alteza Polanco again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are nice and big, hotel is clean, service is good, wifi is rippin (40-50 mbps down) and price is great. A notch below a top shelf biz hotel but I would definitely reccomend. If you do not speak Spanish you will be watching CNN (the one English channel) and might get interesting room service deliveries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are friendly and helpful. Although it seems I was charged twice for my stay, with my company prepaying and I had to pay on arrival as well - it's still being sorted. My room is good, a clean and spacious suite. Breakfast included the cold buffet, hot breakfast is available at additional cost. There is a big mall with nice restaurants close by. Polanco is close to downtown Mexico City, a 30 minute walk or short taxi ride. I would definitely stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is in a very quiet area of town, from what I experienced.
The rooms were VERY clean, and the hotel staff were very friendly.
The other guests were loud, but I blame it on ECD.
Overall, great place for the price; great for a layover/ nap.
