Hotel Amar Inn - 77580 Puerto Morelos

Very nice place. We regret so much not spending more time at this place. Very nice atmosphere, the owners live here too and they are amazing. The hospitality was amazing. We choose this place as a last option, but I can see now why the reviews were so great for this gem. We will definitely return here. Oh and the little town, was also very beautiful. Way less busy than PlayaDelCarmen, which was full of commerce, nightclubs, Dru..s; this Puerto Morelos was more family oriented, peaceful and beautiful.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast at the beach. Rooms are large, clean, quiet, and private. Staff and host are very helpful. Daily breakfast is homemade and delicious. Wifi, AC, beach towels, sunscreen, bikes. Great value for price. Very Safe. I came for a week, ended up staying for a month as I loved it so much. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

Nice stay in second row on the beach. We had a very nice room with ocean view. The homemade breakfast was one of the bests we had in Mexico.

We stayed in one of the rooms with a kitchenette and it was great to have a fridge in the room. Very comfortable and clean. Super close to the beach! Gallo/Luis is an amazing host who is extremely attentive. Christian, who watches the place in the evenings, is also really great and fun to chat with

Very pleasent stay. Clean and equipped rooms, with safety box. Nice staff. Delicious breakfast. Family atmosphere. Right by a wide beach. I stayed there for its proximity to Cancún airport and I'm really happy with my choice.

We chose this hotel for the amazing breakfast, but we never actually got to eat any. It's only served 8am to 10am, so if you have an early tour or dive, you won't get any breakfast. The one day we did have time, they served us chicken even though they assured us it was vegetarian. Took them so long (30+ minutes) to redo it without the chicken that we had to leave before it was served (an hour after sitting down for breakfast). So if you're interested in morning activities, don't plan on eating the breakfast. As for cleanliness, the room was clean when we got there. However, we had left some towels on the floor so they would bring new ones; but when we got back the room had been cleaned but the dirty towels were still on the floor. Finally, the rooms are not soundproof at all. We heard people outside and in neighbouring rooms at all times of day and night; so while the hotel is far enough to not hear the noise from the restaurants and bars, it does have some noise from other guests that was enough to disturb our sleep. The room itself was quite nice, and the workers were quite pleasant, except for one young man who tried to block us when we came back to our room the first day because he hadn't seen us before.

This was an exquisitely beautiful hotel. There was a small number of cabanas, rooms. Ours had a king size bed downstairs and then lofts accessed by a spiral staircase separated to 2 areas where there were beds, lights and fans. Not only did we have a full kitchen with a sink, coffee maker etc, we were surprised to see the refrigerator much larger than normal for hotel rooms. They had a small pool, hammocks, and a turtle pond. For breakfast the next morning, I was quite surprised that they brought it to the outside table on our Cabana covered porch. There were several rounds of food and coffee, tea, orange juice that came. I was shocked! We did not expect that and thought that we would go to a main area and pick what we want. That made it so much more special. All of the staff were extremely nice. Also it was right on the beach just a short easy walk. I would definitely stay here again.
