About Hotel Antigua Posada

Durante los años cuarenta, en la calle Galeana, había un lugar llamado "El Rincón de Galeana”, que le pertenecía a la familia Vega. Aquí vivía la familia y alquilaban pequeñas habitaciones con cocina, el tradicional patio común con un gran jardín y baños comunitarios en donde las mujeres aseaban la ropa, realizaban su trabajo doméstico y convivían mientras sus hijos jugaban en el jardín.

Los jardines estaban rodeados principalmente por palmeras, árboles de mandarina, japónicas y buganvilias, la flor orgullo de Cuernavaca.

En 1989 la señora Martha Alicia Vega, una mujer muy creativa y nieta de una antigua familia de Cuernavaca de los inicios del siglo XX, compartió su idea y la necesidad de crear un pequeño centro comercial en estos locales con su familia.

Los de la habitación de enfrente se quedaron despiertos toda la madrugada platicando y haciendo ruido lo que ocasionó que no pudiera descansar muy bien. El hotel estaba limpio y cerca del centro. Las cortinas no cerraban por completo, por lo que si te molesta la luz del sol temprano, no hay forma de evitarlo. La atención varia de acuerdo al humor de los empleados, al principio bien , pero después del cambio de turno la otra persona con una actitud prepotente. No estaba claro el tema de los precios en plataformas como booking , por lo que se tuvo que hacer el pago en el lugar a diferente precio (comentaron que por el tema de impuestos) , y presionaron para hacerlo antes de cierto horario. Y no quisieron entregar el voucher de la transacción, nos pidieron que si queríamos que le tomáramos foto. Tiene buena ubicación en cuanto está cerca del centro de Cuernavaca (muy cerca), solo que la zona por la noche no es muy agradable, ello no es atribuible al hotel. La atención del personal excelente.
