Hotel Bardo - 77760 Tulum

Hotel Bardo cannot be beat. Their pools, the food, the drinks all make it hard to leave the hotel grounds. But, you can jump over to their sister hotel, Una Vida (hello, green chilaquiles) if you want to try something new. The design of the room is one of the most unique: a lounge pool with a 1 foot deep ledge for sitting or 4 foot deep area for relaxing. Steps across the pool lead to the entry: large glass sliding doors. Candles, incense, and low lighting make for a romantic stay. The service is impeccable. Every staff member in every role was kind, helpful, and genuinely warm. Daniela, Melissa, Leo, Allan, Jose, and Juliano made our stay one worth returning. The tuna tostada, santa muerte, luce el cocktail, and truffle fries were hard to resist having every day and outshined many of the (outstanding) restaurants we ate at.

Gorgeous rooms, serene pool & surroundings in an extravagant jungle. Would stay here again it was an absolute pleasure. Dinner was incredibly delicious & so was breakfast ?

We stayed 3 nights. We chose it for our honeymoon, so they offered wine and dessert to the room. A very kind gesture. It's a quiet hotel. It has caring and friendly employees. The food is very delicious, especially pancake, french toast, quesadilla, nachos, rib eye steak, burrata.. We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms and the comfort of the bed. I have a few negative things to say. The lack of drainage channels on the edges of the pool in the common area causes insects and leaves to constantly pollute the pool. The paint on the tables in the restaurant contaminates the white clothes. Fresh juice option should be more. Airport transfer fee and general food and beverage prices are high. It was intended to be a quiet hotel, while we were staying, a track team was teaching in the pool. It's not a deep pool and the tracks make noise, I think it should be banned. In the rooms, every detail should be considered and there should be towels and slippers. The shower is outside, which was not a problem for us. But there are big stones in the shower area, it is a big risk if you slip and fall on the wet floor. I think those stones should be removed. We were also very satisfied with the massage, we recommend it. It's a nice hotel in general, but I wouldn't recommend it to those who are insect phobic.

I just left from Bardo today and I can’t wait to go back. The villa, bar, food, service, everything were so great. I can’t wait to come back again. I can’t even put into words how great my stay was. This hotel is awesome. Just go ahead and book it.

Might be my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. Everything was just perfect. Lots of personal touches. The staff was so genuinely friendly and helpful. Had to change the date of my checkin and they were very accommodating. The pool was beautiful, the room was very comfortable, everything new/modern/stylish. The food/drinks blew away my already high expectations from reading previous reviews, good wine selection and handcrafted cocktails. Was very impressed with the couples massage My favorite part was the mini-bar. Flavored ecigs, CBD oil/gummies, nice expresso machine. Then all the usual stuff Sad we were only able to stay for 2 nights, but we will be back Thanks again, -Marty and Erika

Beautiful hotel! The service is spectacular, always there to help in any way they can. The ambience is great and the villas are really something special. Would highly recommend!

My Lady and I stayed at Hotel Bardo for Christmas and New Years. This was by far the BEST vacation to date. The pictures does the hotel little justice. This experience was almost as incredible as the staff. Mara, Hosé, Miguel and Manny were beyond helpful and generous with their services.

Super nice place, very nice stuff, overall very good. Only drawback - a bit far away from the beach and action Best place I’ve ever been!!!! The place smells nice, many candles… I like it! +5 points!! The stone floor hurts my feet - 1 point :( very nice suits +5 points, little light in the room and little storage for my many many many clothes - 3 points, very nice stuff +2.5 points, bad dollar - pesos exchange rate - 5 points. Free yoga class in the morning +5 points!! Now my back hurts.. -1 point. =[sum(points)]/[sum(total.points)] == much much good place. Really like.
