Hotel Barracuda - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

No internet in the room. Loud music. 4 star because the view have an Oceanview and you can sea cruise ships from the room.

Unbelievably bad, avoid at all costs. Never had such a terrible experience at hotels ever

I have stayed at Barracuda several times over the last few decades. The staff I have encountered at the front desk have always been really nice. The rooms I like are typically one that I can open the door and walk out and get my ride to the dive sites, from their pier. This is the Mexico coast, I am in a room on the ground floor leading right out to the ocean...there were a few bugs and I didn't care one bit. This place has good prices and is close to the town center. I typically use Dive Paradise, cause they are close, have good pricing and I have never been disappointed. The bar on site works well. Does get crowded when the cruise ships dock. Didn't eat here but had lots of cold Sol's with a lime after a day of diving. A large grocery store is in walking distance. The rooms themselves are all I need, not fancy but nice. Fridge, TV...I spend so little time in my room.

One of my favorite places to go when we go to Cozumel. Spent majority of our honeymoon here. Always have and always will highly recommend Hotel Barracuda!!

This Hotel is a lot of fun, better for younger people. Loud music from the daily Beach/Pool Party is the norm, for a 100 USD a night this place is a good deal. You can stay for a lot less away from the beach, if that's what you want.

Didn’t stay at Hotel Barracuda but spent the day at No Name bar. One of my favorite bars to go to in Cozumel. You can jump in the sea or they have a pool with a swim up bar. Great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere

This is definitely not a 3 star hotel, more like a 1 star. The rooms are very outdated. There is no shampoo in the rooms or bottled water. The mattress is totally awful, hard as a rock! My back hurt after 2 nights and I had to check out and go home. No one asked me if I needed help dragging my suitcase up the 2 flights of stairs and I'm 64 years old.. I would have been happy to tip someone for that. Also, the shower is unacceptable, the water barely came out of the shower head and during my shower, it went to super hot. The only thing I did enjoy was the No Name bar in which the waitresses took good care of me and my food and drinks were very good.

This is a divers paradise hotel with a great location close to the down town area great views of the ocean balconies are fantastic for people watching we had no problems at all including the music from the bar they turn it down pretty early (8 or 9). The reception area is nice and the clerks are very friendly. There is a grocery store right across the street ( Mega) the only down fall was the ac unit is pretty loud in the room so maybe just ask for an outside ac unit.
