★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those with an RV or similar #vanlife setup:
Clean bathrooms with showers. The toilet and shower are all in the same room.
There is no sewer hook up, unlike the other Hotel Baruk in the outskirts of Zacatecas. Although, you can always empty gray water tanks in the bathroom. (Ask for forgiveness.)
There is a 15 (20?) amp outlet on the far end of the strip of the parking lot where they had us park.
Clearance may be an issue for some taller RVs. Our rig is 10 feet and change and we just barely made it into the parking lot, having to drive under a sort of archway to get into the lot.
You can't walk directly into town from the hotel. You have to go up to the main road and back down into the city. It's a 20+ minute walk. There are sidewalks for the most part. So, it's not a terrible hike.
Pretty quiet for the most part.
Fantastic view overlooking the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice ambiance. Great views in the day, very colorful by night. The Cabrito restaurant was great as well. You must have the Arachera and the flautas mixtas.
Just a few things that were a draw back were the older sheets/ mattresses in the room. They were clean but felt old. Water pressure and hot water were great, but you had to be careful it didn't overflow into the rest of the room. I also had reserved a taxi to the airport through the receptions concierge for 330am the next day and they didn't show up, very nerve wrecking. Luckily the gentleman at reception rushed to find a new one and we made it on time. I'll stay there again because of the convenience, price and nice staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location and beautiful view! The rooms were big and had everything I needed. I did have to leave a deposit of $1000 pesos per room, but it was returned at check out. I would definitely stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They claim to be ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ not true very sad how the place looks here is not all how is listed on webpages Lots of things need to be done. The hotel needs to be well maintained and upgraded.
Washroom tiles in the shower are peeling are in bad conditions.
The water from the bathtub drain the water to the strainer by the toilet. Cabinet doors are broken.
Corridors' chandeliers the wires are exposed. hallways floor look bad and walls need to be painted all over the place.
Treadmills are not working very small gym in the machines are too tight to one another.
Steam room has not been working for 4 or more years they said is a broken pipe underground.
The water of pool was very cold
and water had saliva on the surface because the water is not circulating. the pool doesn’t have a stairwell or a ramp for people with disability like me. And they claim having Jacuzzi but is open to the pool, the pressure is low and same temperature of the water of the pool.
We have addressed everything to Palmira C. Sales executive.
Receptions Staff were very helpful and nice. Also my body massage therapist Gulherme was very professional
Miss Palmira was verry nice look like you took the concerns very seriously and she's supposed to get back to us to give us a night at Guadalajara

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Front desk personnel lacking good attitude and service; room key activated day by day regardless the length of your stay. Restaurant personnel service too slow and wasting time at the moment you are paying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Good: Friendly staff, no complains regarding customer care. Excellent city views. Excellent AC/cooling system.
The Bad: (Master Suite 3 nights)
1.Broken latch of one window, unable to close or lock window that faced the corridor.
2. Suite had odor of humidity/mold. Stronger smell of mold in restroom/ shower room. I bought 2 Lysol cans for my stay, sprayed whole room, bathroom and beds mornings and nights.
3. The bedding, definitely outdated and not of a 4 or 5 star hotel as the hotel claims to be.
4. The shower room, as previously mentioned, had a strong smell of humidity and mold. HOT water for night and morning showers, one needs to open water 15 minutes before getting into shower, in order to get warm water.
At check out I certainly completed and submitted a Satisfaction Survey.
