Hotel Bello Caribe - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

It's a good place to stay overnight. Not many people stay there so you'll have time for yourself. Also, the restaurant, Los Molcajetes Is really good. Nice serving size, not very expensive, and it's good food overall. Don't expect a premium service or anything of the likes, it's not a five star hotel.

Rooms are clean, not expensive, pretty close to downtown, grocery stores and tacos restaurants, the coffe is great! just the water of the pool is not so clean besides that the hotel is a good option

Hotel rents cars to guest. The company they use provides cars that are dangerous to use. We had an issue with the car, tried to contact the company, but they blocked our numbers.

They lost my booking. I can't pay with my credit card and it took long long time to résolve this problem because the receptionist was bad with me. Poorly soundproofed rooms. Habitaciones mal insonorizadas

We stayed one night and there was an issue with our booking through Priceline. The front desk lady was very patient with us although it was quite frustrating. Confirmation emails were sent to both parties and we showed our Bank of America processing the fee for the room yet they did not allow us to get a room unless we paid them again at the counter. We contacted Priceline to ensure a refund if the transaction is doubled and paid again. The rooms were decent but in good condition for a short stay. Clean beds. Fans. A mini fridge and a small tv and table in the living room. Their continental breakfast was alright. 1 piece of bread with coffee or orange juice and a plate of fruits. It was more of a morning snack before the real meal. I had fun exploring the hotel though. They had a rooftop that you can go up and enjoy the sunrise early in the day and get a fresh breath of morning breeze. The swimming pool was clean and my father enjoyed his swim. I also saw the pool cleaning guy come in to maintain the pool so I know for sure they have it serviced! I would stay here again and recommend staying here because it is AFFORDABLE, but definitely DO NOT BOOK ONLINE. Come in person and pay for your room at the front desk or call them on the phone to book in advanced. The hassle of going through a 3rd party website is too stressful to deal with when you are on vacation. TIP: Request a room near the entrance otherwise you might not be able to use the FREE WIFI!

Rooms needed more places to store things. Had to ask for towels everyday. Cockroaches and ants need to be dealt with. Shower head should be replaced. A massive termite nest at the top of the palapa seems concerning. Breakfast included was fruit and bread and coffee, but not enough. That was a little misleading. Housekeeping kept up on cleaning the room everyday. Was an experience, but probably wouldn't revisit unless some changes were made. For the price, it afforded us a lot of other experiences beyond just the hotel. The pool was well kept. All the plants everywhere was a nice touch.

Good location near the center of the city, but far away enough to be quiet. Supermarkets and stores close by and free parking lots. The employees are very friendly and service-minded, and the beds are great with plenty of room. Only improvements could be a bit cleaner bathroom and bigger breakfast, but nothing that bothered us, and more than fair compared to the price.
