Beautiful well kept smallish hotel

After hearing great things about this hotel, not impressed at all. The most disappointing aspect is the food - it is not good - really disappointing. As most know Mexico is known for its delicious food, but this hotel let's that legend down unfortunately - bland, boring and uninspiring offerings. The staff, however, are lovely - very friendly and more than happy to assist. The pool is meh - small, overcrowded with kids. The rooms are average - nothing special at all. All in all, this is a very OK "resort".

Been here a few times. Cute little quaint And quiet hotel. Front desk staff is nice and the doorman is super helpful and pleasant. Pool is fairly small. When Mexico has a long weekend holiday, the pool is packed with families and kids. The outdoor grounds of the hotel are lovely, lots of plants, trees, greenery. The rooms are excellent size however I didn’t like the fact that my shower curtain was still soaked from the previous guest staying in the room. I know it’s a petty thing to complain about; but that goes with cleanliness, I don’t like seeing other people’s hair on the shower curtain. Otherwise, the room was clean. The beds are hard and pillows are memory foam, the sleep isn’t the best. Drinks and food are average, and staff is friendly. There’s a few little stores across the street to purchase additional necessities and it’s only a 40 peso cab ride to town.

The vibe at this hotel is very welcoming. Pool is fantastic and the location is perfect for heading into town. A quick 30 min walk or 60 peso taxi and you’re there. Not a large hotel at all but the rooms are nice and staff are great. Spent a lot of time near the square and marina which have some great restaurants and shops. There are festivals a few times a year which are truly fantastic. Rented a motorcycle and cruised the countryside which was my personal highlight.

Rooms are nice...pool area is wonderful. Food is average. Location is good..not on the water but a walk or taxi ride from great beaches.

Would not recommend this place!!!! Receptionist and receptionist manager were horrible!!!!!! They looked bothered/annoyed since day one! (6 night stay) no customer service! We are easy people!!! Loved housekeeping and door men! They were amazing! Facility needs a lot of updating

Wonderful staff and facilities.. mostly canadian and locals staying here.. food was decent and the bars are great. Can't reiterate how much we enjoyed our stay..will be back for more then a week next time. Will never goto a northern resort again!! Wife booked our next stay the day after we got home..

I would have given it a 5 had it not been for the food. We are very easy people. The hotel, pool, beach club, staff and staff are amazing. The rooms could use an update but they were very clean. However the food is very disappointing. It is pretty much the same thing everyday. Only a handful of dishes available to choose from the buffet and what there is, is nothing to write home about. We were hoping that the Christmas meal would be something special but it was even worse than daily meals. Had they put as much effort on the food as they did on the decorations, perhaps we would have felt differently. If you don’t mind eating the same food regularly then I recommend this resort. Otherwise don’t bother. For a little bit more money you can have an amazing food experience somewhere else. For Canadians thinking of coming here just be aware about the following. It’s not beachfront but you have access to the to a super nice beach club where you have lunch, you are not allowed to have snack or May food outside of the restaurants. Supper doesn’t start until 7:30, snack bar closes at 5:00, there is no nightlife and bars close at 11:00. Hope this helps
