Hotel Biwa Tulum - 77760 Tulum

Great hotel. It's clean and the staff is friendly. The WiFi is good and the swimming pool is nice to chill.

A great place to stay in Tulum. We stayed beachfront up until our last night at the Biwa and we wish we had stayed there instead for the majority of our trip.

Its a nice place. Very friendly stuff. Comfy rooms. All you need. Area is so so. It’s directly at a street so it can get noisy also during the night. We slept well though

Love the location in downtown Tulum and with an amazing rooftop to watch the sun rises and sunsets. Walking distance for shopping stores, nightlife, the ruins, and cenotes. The room was so clean and spotless and I like they had a kitchenette with utensils. They have a restaurant in the first floor that opens early for breakfast with affordable prices, very delicious food.

Had an amazing stay here! Room was very very clean and spacious. Pool area is really good although in the shade most of the day - it’s so hot and humid that you actually don’t mind it being in the shade. Staff were very friendly. The only negative was that were needed to get laundry done. We had around 7 kilos (we had been travelling a while and were carrying on for another couple of weeks). We were told by the hotel reception that this was a complimentary service by the hotel which was perfect and that it would be done in 2 hours. Once we got our clothes back the cleaner told us it was 700 pesos (£28) 100 pesos per kilo. This was frustrating because we initially asked where the local laundrette was to be told it was free at the hotel. We wondered off to the local laundrette once we found it and found that it was 16 pesos (65p) per kilo. So we were completely being ripped off. We felt bad for the receptionist who made the mistake about telling us this but felt bad as she was young and going to have to contribute via her own pocket. We just ended up paying in the end but this was super frustrating. Besides this it was great. The roof top was a really cool place to sit and have a drink. Also the cafe down stairs (not inc in the hotel) is delicious. They have really good juices and pastries.

We have stayed at Hotel Biwa Tulum several times and have always had a five star experience. The staff is wonderful. They are super friendly and helpful. The facilities and rooms are everything we expect in a small boutique hotel. We will be back and have recommended that our friends stay here when they are in Tulum.
