Hotel Bogavante - 48987 Barra de Navidad

The hotel has a great view, location and the pool is nice. But I got a room with a door that connected to other room and it was very noisy!!! The kids screaming at 7am and music. In general it's a great place just make sure to choose a room without the connection door!

Nice pool area, helpful staff, building not finished with a few hazards around including sharp rusty objects and big falls with broken or no balustrades. Wi-Fi good, place is clean with amazing views at sunset. The sea is rough and the waves break right at the base of the pool. We paid mx$1180 for a double room with view to the sea.

Nice hotel with a great view of the ocean from the pool. Also I had a mojito and quesadilla from the pool bar, which were both delicious. The only con is that there was no elevator, and because the hotel was still under construction, you could sometimes hear the noise throughout the day.

Stayed here one night. Had dinner twice. I was a little generous with the 4 star. I really like a 3.5 star. The building is still under renovations and work is on going. The room overlooked the ocean and was nice, good a.c. in this room. Food was good and hh was fine and the band that night was really good. Here are the but's tho, cable connection needed fixing, no bar of soap, 1/2 roll of toilet paper no shampoos and the slider on the room wont lock, the door on the room needs a key and Handel didn't work properly and difficult getting in the room. Due to hurricane damage the stairs going to beach were now about 2 or 3 feet short now. I know they lots to fix after a hurricane hit, but many of these things are an easy fix. I feel there are the right direction and get a coffee spot or espresso stop please. Also better amenities and assistance. And the room had no phone to call for a question or service.

Nice place, on the beach, helpful staff, walking all over

Went to Salsa music performance. Had appie and and a drink. Very reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. Did not stay in hotel.

Very nice little hotel. Much cleaner rooms than Grand Isla Navidad Resort. Food delicious. Service a bit slow. Would visit again.

Nice hotel right on the water. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, good breakfast. We will go back again.
