Hotel Bouquet - 37700 San Miguel de Allende

Loved staying here! Staff is very attentive and location is unbeatable.

It’s in a great location in San Miguel de Allende, close to downtown. You can see the cathedral Parroquia from the roof top. You won’t regret staying here.

The “hotel” is actually just a few rooms on a back of a restaurant, at first I couldn’t even find the place, as there was crowd of people waiting in line in front of the restaurant which I needed to pass through. The rooms themselves were fine, although on a smaller side. Throughout most of my stay there was loud dance music blasting across the whole venue and due to the non-existent sound isolation of the rooms it was impossible to avoid it, even with earplugs on. There was supposedly a rooftop terrace bar, but I wasn’t allowed in. Even though the bar closed at 11PM, the noise continues well till 2AM, and sleeping was pretty much impossible. What a weird place.

The hotel is sandwiched between a lovely restaurant and a rooftop nightclub. It's really a strange setup. The evening we arrived, techno music was blasting in the restaurant and on the rooftop. They upgraded us to a master suite, which wasmodern, gorgeous, and clean, though it lacked some basic hotel supplies - washcloths, a hair dryer, an iron, a dresser with drawers, a microwave. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom had a huge shower plus a huge tub. Really lovely. But the music did. not. stop. We fell asleep to the sound of n-sk, n-sk, n-sk, n-sk - the steady beat of techno drums. Plus loud, drunk twenty-somethings shouting and dancing. It happened Friday and Saturday afternoons into the wee hours, plus all of Sunday afternoon until 7pm. It suuuuucked. We were not allowed on the rooftop. It's a velvet rope type situation, and we overweight, middle-aged Americans don't fit that class of beautiful people. That meant there was no outdoor space to enjoy, and no pool. So we were stuck in our room - the room right under the nightclub. Aside from that, the staff was attentive, as much as possible given they didn't speak English and we speak very little Spanish. Unfortunately, I don't recommend Hotel Bouquet. It's just not good enough, given the per-night price. There are many hotels in SMA that are more relaxing, more welcoming, and prettier.

There’s a night club above the hotel, pretty noisy but if you’re a night owl I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, it is close to everything and it has super nice rooms and facilities! The staff was very friendly and attentive, we don’t speak much Spanish but they were very accommodating and encouraging us to attempt our broken Spanish haha

Amazing hotel! The location was perfect. We were here for my daughters wedding. The hotel, staff, rooms and rooftop lounge could not be beat! We highly recommend this hotel. THANK YOU for an amazing stay.
