★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is not close to the center or a beach, the hotel is well designed but not practical, we could here the cars on the road at night, and the hotel will not move us to another location. Breakfast was not very good, the only bright side was the marina view

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms were ok, but when I arrived at the hotel they charged me more for my room than my reservation stated it would cost. Despite having a copy of my reservation and the cost shown, they changed the price upward. Not happy at all.
Staff was nice. Price change was not their fault, it was the owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel, close to the city center with an amazing view on the sea. Rooms are clean and spacious but the shower should be renovated (almost no water coming out).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were in the junior suite with garden view #3. Which boasts a "Small terrace with garden area". Be forewarned this is not private. We woke up every morning to loud people laughing and drinking coffee on "our" terrace. Horrible shower head makes the whole bathroom wet. The seashell faucet in the bathroom splashed everywhere. No makeup mirror. No place to hang wet towels. The room itself is very dark and depressing. Very little storage for clothes or personal items. No night's stands. (Had to take a table from the pool) and use a cardboard box for my husband's CPAP machine) Ill equipped kitchen. (One coffee cup and one set of silverware) Leaking refrigerator. Freezing cold pool. Only five lounge chairs by the pool and of the five lounge chairs by the beach area three had legs broken off. Was told by another guest It's been that way for years. At dusk the bugs are ferocious. Even in February which I've never experienced on Isla before. The landscaping appears to have been nice at one time. But is all not trimmed up properly so it looks unkept, sparce and jenky. They use a lot of plastic drywall buckets for plants. Plastic plants. Macrame hanging decor and other decor that cheapens the place. Unfriendly front desk people, the only time the guy smiled was when we were leaving. The front desk is not well manned and it is tough to find someone to help you. We reserved a golf cart two weeks ahead of time and quoted $63 a day total. When we got there they charged us $83 a day and they were 2 ½ hrs late giving it to us. Noisy, lots of door slamming. The good -Bed was comfortable, housekeeping was good although sporadic. Christian behind the bar and the woman doing the cooking were the only shining stars of this establishment. Most of the food was pretty good and drinks were fresh. Checked out 4 days early and they would not refund any portion of it but we were ready to go so small price to pay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Based on the reviews here and pictures, we had very high hopes. But it was just meh, the personnel did not make us feel welcome. Room was ok, but much room for improvement. Also, noisy, near a busy road, we had to sleep with ear plugs. The sea and view at the back is also not at its best, quite a lot of boats that block the view. Terrible coffee. On the positive, room was cleaned nicely every day and 2 bottles of water included every day. And the pool was nice. But all in all, bit disappointed and would not book again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a little hidden gem. We booked the penthouse for one night it was fantastic. Took a bit for the room to cool down as the ac was turned on shortly before our arrival. The room has and private salt water pool on the roof with views of both sides of the island. Would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel - good location, reception staff very friendly. We can see that they take care of the installations the atmosphere is peaceful.
2 things to improve :
1) the shower had low pressure
2) The guy at the breakfast looked annoyed to do his job
Would recommend anyway
