Hotel Boutique Casa Chichipicas - 51200 Valle de Bravo

A hidden jewel in Valle de Bravo. At first we were skeptical given some comments we saw about getting there, but everything turned out amazing. The staff is attentive and the entire hotel has a modern/cozy feeling given it's well distributed design.

My husband and I had a great stay at Casa Chichipicas. The entire staff was great; they go out of their way to make sure your stay is great. The food and the drinks were super tasty. Omar gave us some really great recommendations. He booked us massages for one of the days, and the team that he booked was great. He also helped us book a boat ride on the lake, which was a highlight of the trip. Nothing but great things to say. Super LGBTQ friendly. A couple minor details: I do agree that the internet could be stronger - we were on vacation and not really needing the internet for work, so it wasnt a huge deal, but the internet was super slow. Could just be a problem with their internet provider; we didnt care enough to ask. The neighborhood dogs can get a little loud, so if youre a light sleeper, maybe bring a white noise machine - our room came with earplugs. We walked everywhere, but the cobblestones around town are a little treacherous. Cabs are super easy to grab though, and most knew the hotel, or the cross streets. We took cabs back to the hotel most nights if we went out for dinner. We had a great stay. Looking forward to visiting again.

Great hotel! Cozy and clean! If you really want to rest this is the place

Such a beautiful place surrounded by trees. The doors of the room open wide to a creek and a backyard full of trees and fenced. One can hear birds chirping and it’s quite relaxing. The rooms are well decorated and neat. The service was excellent, the quality of the food at the restaurant was great, and the pool was very clean. I used the jacuzzi for an hour and ordered drinks from the bar in the evening, it was quite pleasant. The staff was very helpful and gave us directions to Velo de novia waterfall and Mariposa monarca to see the butterflies. Overall it was a great experience one I would gladly do again!

Wonderful boutique hotel for very reasonable price! We stayed there cause the main hotel we’re going to El Santuario Resort was fully booked for these days. And guess what? Chichipipas was absolutely better, even the view was our preference. Very stylish new quit place. The design is so cool that even could never remember the doors open direction ? Nice restaurant with great prices and throughly menu. Great service too. Beautiful fireplace. Very cozy

The hotel has a nice vibe and comfortable common areas, with five stars going straight to the staff's friendliness and great service. However there is a huge gap between the rate and product you would expect according to this. The turn-off's are in key areas: noise, rest and cleanliness. When it comes to noise, the rooms have very poor noise isolation, we could clearly hear other guests walking above our room and hotel staff at early and late hours. Pillows are key to a good rest and these were way too firm and thick, no further options... We noticed lack of cleanliness in key areas, including the bathroom, which in our case had severe humidity issues, and hairs from clearly previous guests.

They have a malfunctioning reservation website and unhelpful personnel.... booked a 4 night stay for the end of December 2021, and although it says cancellation is allowed up to 5 days before the first night, I haven't been able to cancel my reservation and that after 4 email exchange and 2 phone calls!!

A boutique hotel (10 rooms) with a great design, modern, functional, curated, quiet (up the hill from the downtown - a good healthy walk). We slept like babies, ate well at the restaurant, and relaxed in the common area. A bit on the pricey end, overall a very good experience.
