Hotel Boutique Casa Don Quijote - 37700 San Miguel de Allende

We are staying at the sister hotel and only went for breakfast. The breakfast was terrible, and we found a roach in the bread halfway through the meal. What we did eat did not sit well afterwards. Did not see the rooms but after we reported the issues with the food, the staff was not helpful and did not even apologize.

Quiet, centrally located hotel in flat area with the nicest staff you can imagine. Rooms have air conditioning. Bathroom could use a bit of updating but everything else is great including comfortable bed and nespresso machine in room. Really like the grey room (each room has the name of a color).

Magical boutique hotel walking distance to everything. Highly recommend.

Amazing placeservice was fantastic! Rooms were beautiful and food was great. My favourite one so far in San Miguel. Perfect location. The minute you enter the property, you feel happy!!!

Save your money and protect your energy. Stay elsewhere. I cannot emphasize this enough.

An appalling hotel, with appalling service, appalling staff and appalling rooms. The room was dark, dirty and depressing. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom had flies in it. The internet didn’t work and when we told them this they first blamed our phones, then tried to offer us two other much less nice rooms, one of which also didn’t have internet, and one of which was dirty and had a sink next to the bed. The shower ran stone cold - when we raised this we were told to run the hot tap for 10 minutes and it would warm up. We actually did this, and it didn’t. The whole hotel had a kind of creepy, depressing vibe and I really can’t understand the good reviews it has received. The breakfast was stone cold and disgusting. The worst part of the whole experience has been the staff. Their attitude is disrespectful and rude, they always look grumpy and like they don’t want to be there, and they just keep repeating the same phrases in a hostile way. We came from a wonderful hotel in Guanajuato and this was just the other end of the spectrum. I’d really recommend avoiding this depressing place.

Nice hotel that is close enough to walk to the town center. Family and I stayed here on a one night trip. The staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because it has parking available. Also has free breakfast. Only upside was that I wish they would have their restaurant open up as a regular restaurant, I believe it's only open for breakfast.
