★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there to grab some food because we wanted to avoid the Patzcuaro Christmas crowd. You need to get there by car its like 30 min on the road to Patzcuaro. The place is quite nice, the view of the lake is great! We ate at lunch time there, the food is good a little bit pricey and the portions are small, but like I said it's really tasty. I recommend this place if you already have visited Patzcuaro city center and wish to have a good view of the lake without the crowds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful landscapes gardens next to lake, hotel is very nicely designed with lots of original art work around. The food is fresh and breakfast was very nice, lot's of food and all homemade. We were only guests in January, so too cold to really enjoy all the outdoor facilities. Owner and staff were very nice and accomodating, our room was small but functional with two huge picture windows, A/C helped keep the room warm. Shower had a problem but lots of hot water. Location a bit far from anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rent a boat and they charged me 1400 pesos when the real cost of a boat for 2 to 5 people is 600 pesos. I find this quite offensive and make my mind completely changed about the hotel policy and way they treat theirs clients.

The service at the restaurant was good but had to ask our server multiple times for the same thing. The food was okay but nothing impressive considering prices for Mexico are above average for what you get. So you are really paying for the view.
