Hotel Boutique Pueblo Lindo - 40200 Taxco

Heaven in Taxco. We will stay here anytime we are in town. The views are breathtaking and the town is a smorgasbord for the senses.

We decided to visiting Taxco for our 25 wedding anniversary. The hotel staff immediately catered to us making sure our stay was above what we expected. Our accommodations were superb (room 401) and, I must say, made a world of difference every time we walked in the door. We had a Jacuzzi on our balcony with a beautiful view of the city scape. Honestly, we were blown away! We loved the people in Taxco, so genuinely friendly, from our business transactions to simply sharing a meal and coming home to our amazing room was the cherry on top. I expect we'll be back soon and this will be the place we stay.

We only had breakfast that not only was delicious but also reasonable. The sweet rolls were light and flavorable. The views are great. At the time of our visit hotel guests were enjoying the hot tub. Highly recommend.

Negative: There's no A/C in the rooms. You can ask Front Desk for a fan and they send it to your room but you may or may not have an outlet to connect it because the outlets are very limited (about one outlet per room) in the rooms. Positive: Rooms are clean and the city view is amazing. The staff is very friendly for the most part. Special shoutout to Griselda from Front Desk who was very accommodating with our special requests.

We live in California, we are originally from Taxco. We found this place because is centrical. We rented a Villa for a week, costing a lot of money for what they offer. The first day, we found was a Roach in the bathroom and Dead Flys by the Windows. No AC. Just a fan. We got this place to do a family gathering. My grandma is older. She is 80’s. So she needs spacial accommodations. Her room was not ready so we manage to get her to the terrace, nobody was there, so it was easy for us to wait there. - Everything was fine until the minute grandma was craving typical taquitos. We bring the food and everything was perfect for a perfect afternoon. This girl Melissa Hernandez. Her approach was rude, no customer service at all. She see’s her guest as money making machines. She only cares about people consuming from her Hothel. I explain her that my grandma was older and she was craving typical tacos de chuleta. She did no gave us the exception. Costing us a lot of work to transfer her to an other place. Please - Do not book in this Hothel. For all the money that they ask. It’s not worth it. They do not deserved your money.. It’s bad that after the pandemic they just care about them filling their pockets. Aparte de cucarachas o moscas muertas. No se merecen su dinero, no renten de este lugar. Solo quieren su dinero sin ofrecer un buen servicio. - No escuchan las desmandas de sus huéspedes. No saben escuchar, especialmente Melissa Hernandez. No se merece clientes como nosotros. Very clean quant and comfortable. My only issue is when we received a perk from Expedia of a free breakfast the service was not good. We were ignored and slow service until we complained while the paying customers had fast service. The service should be the same not matter what.

An enormous disappointment, especially for the price and supposed quality of the hotel. We paid for a junior suite in what we thought was an attractive hotel with quality services. What we found was quite different. Poor WiFi signal in the room (I had to go and sit outside the restaurant for a decent signal), a small pool with only four sunbeds). Worst of all, our suite (303) was just below an area rented out by the hotel for private events. Every night we heard the sound of people getting drunk, screams, dropped glasses and loud music until 11:30pm. It only stopped because I complained. So, potentially a hotel that would warrant four stars from a guest (it looks nice, is clean, in a good part of town) but our experience was not pleasant. I hope you have better luck if you choose to stay here.

I had better experiences in the past, I think the service has gone downhill. Still is a good option but by the price I’ll take another location. It has a great view from the cathedral of the city.
