We loved this hotel. Very eclectic decor. Service is first rate, and Isaac made our stay. Not easy to find a great hotel like this that allows dogs!

We decided to stay here for a little night getaway. We booked through Hopper. Sadly we didn’t even end up staying the night. The room was stuffy, dirty and the bed really uncomfortable. We asked to be switched to another room. The staff was kind and moved us. The second room was bigger but there was a strong sewer smell in the bathroom and water gurgling up from the tub. It was also not clean. We also had booked a spa night and decided to go. The massage was horrible and felt like the masseuses were improvising and the facilities dirty. The robes for the spa smelled bad like they hadn’t been washed at all. We didn’t even complete our spa package and decided it was better to head home and not spend the night, even if it was already paid for. We were very disappointed.

The architecture of the place is beautiful. The sheets in the property were not white and they had a smell to them so did the pillows in the room. I would not return to this place the mattress and bedding did not meet standard cleaning expectations. Any hotel with dark bedding will be a red flag for me moving forward.

Fantastic! The service is impeccable and the spa services are sensational- Gabriel is a magician when it comes to wellness, you must request a massage with him! The smell of jasmine while flowers drop above you as you are eating breakfast is magical. You can’t beat the location and the staff treat you as if you are family. This is the only go to place to stay while visiting Querétaro.

Not good, we stayed in master suite #16 for 3 nights. Strong Sewer smell outside our room, not very clean, the shower drained so slowly it partially flooded the bathroom with each use, the bath tub drain do not work so you could not fill the tub, the view from the hall between the sleeping room and the bath room was terrible. The hall and part of the bathroom had glass roofs which were covered with tarps, no insect screens on the bathroom windows. The hotel's internet did not allow you to access many site (reminded me of China), the ceiling fan in the bedroom was very noisy and so unsecure it wobbled terribly making it seem hazzardous, the room needed much maintenance and several things were loose or missing, many of the wall electrical switches appeared not to operate anything. If you drive a car be prepared to pay to park down the street at a private lot. The room was very small for a Master Suite and the room layout was like nothing I've ever seen, and I was a certified hotel inspector in the US for 8 years. Would never stay there again and I didn't even consider using their spa after seeing how dirty the room was. NO WAY IS THIS A 3 STAR HOTEL. Beware! I have never written a review before but felt I had to on this one. Oh, and the Suite cost over $417 for 3 nights, high by Mexican standards.

We stayed for 5 nights and had two Jr. Suites adjoining for ourselves and our teen daughter. Highly, highly recommend - there is something beautiful and interesting to look at everywhere you turn. Right in the center of everything, but quiet and peaceful inside. The owners and the entire staff were absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast delicious and atmosphere romantic and comfortable. Enjoy the indoor/outdoor space and the gorgeous weather surrounded by art, flowers, and greenery. Beds and linens impeccable. We will definitely stay again.

Absolute hidden gem. Perfectly located with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel is such an amazing rustic authentic Spa feel. The entire hotel is such a beautiful place. Spa services are amazing. Such an amazing place to stay. Highly recommend it. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Hotel is safe behind locked doors at night and there’s always someone standing guard.

Amazing vibe. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Its like roughing it but luxury. I am also from Canada. ;) The spa is perfection. Definitely worth the splurge. Just a small note, do not leave ANY food out. It attracts ants. Alot of them. Even for half an hour. They probably would have put our food away for us but it was late. We stayed one night, then came back for 2, perfect location as well!! The restaurant next door is also great for genuine Mexican cuisine *chef kiss*
