I hate leaving bad reviews but this was not a good experience and I would not stay here again. In fact we ended up only staying one night out of the three we paid for. It was worth the money to go somewhere else.

Great patio,,gardens, nice beach ,toilet wouldn't flush, had to fill pitcher by hand to flush no big deal in Mexico. Free breakfast waiters, not real friendly, probably don't get tipped.

Ok hotel. Very old...could use some updates and better cleaning..same garbage there for 4 days. Pool starting to grow mould. Shower was a trickle...but the positives are the restaurant staff...beautiful greenery and close to beach.

Positive: The location close to the beach and town was great. Negative: ¿Free Breakfast¿ literally consisted of coffee, juice and toast. That was very disappointing. It was also frustrating that the beach chairs and umbrellas right in front of our hotel, staffed by our hotel¿s staff, were not included as part of our

Location wise, It’s great. Everything else, horrible. Upon arrival we found stains on the bed, bugs on the floor, con webs everywhere. And sand all over the shower curtain. We’ve stayed in tons of hotels and airbnbs all over Mexico and nothing was as bad as this. Because you’re next to the beach, music is playing and raging till about 1-2 AM. So if You are a light sleeper or with a family, good luck. Female staff at front desk was always so nice and helpful. But something about the males working the front desk gave us attitude everytime we had a simple question. One male in particular just seemed like he hated everything and was grumpy all the time. He probably ruined the entire stay for us. this male needs to learn customer service of he wants to work the hotel industry

The good: location, the cats that live on the grounds. Many excellent restaurants within minutes of walking and right on the beach. The bad: pretty much everything else Not professional or service oriented We have been to Mexico about a dozen times and this is the only time staff is not friendly, uninterested, lazy. One of about ten people who we saw working there spoke English. I wish we could post pictures to show you how unclean most things are. I can’t prove they had bed bugs because I didn’t find any on the beds, but we have bites all over our arms. The doors have over an inch of gap at the bottom so mosquitos can come and go as they please, so if could easily be them who eat you alive while you sleep. The mattress are rocks, the pillows are easily the worst we have ever had anywhere anytime. They bad mouthed and argued with us in Spanish for debating what was and was not a blanket when we took extras from the linen closet. Linen closet is an outdoor room where the door is open almost all the time. Bugs, sand, in the linens and not well cleaned (they had an odor). Pool has three hammocks, two of which are broken/ripped up. Sand under our beds from day one, like they sleep everything under the bed or something…We were there 5 nights and saw the same garbage over piled in the trash bins from day one all the way to the end of the stay. There was a water bottle with gum on it next to the pool and we joked about it because it was also left there and not thrown away during the entirely of the stay. Rusted out fans with exposed wires, dust rings around your fan and ceilings that haven’t been painted on over 20 years. Should I keep going? Not clean, terrible service, rude to guests, language barrier, noise issues caused by the staff themselves while they seem to live at the place and talk to people right outside your room in the middle of the night loudly. We left the place feeling dirty and worn down from 5 nights of rough sleep, sore necks, and with all sorts of bumps on our bodies from bites. We will miss the cats but couldn’t wait to get the heck out of there. If the island wasn’t so booked we likely would have fled. We made it work but everyday we hated it more and the WiFi was awful in the rooms so we had limited ability to scope out where we could move to on the island. Place needs better hospitality training, entirely new pillows and “blankets”, a cosmetic remodel and it would make a huge difference. Do your family a favor and note that when a place has a room rating below 3, it’s for a good reason.

Let’s starts with the only good thing. Location. That’s it. This hotel is located on the best beach in Isla Mujeres. Everything else was terrible. The hotel rooms have not been updated in decades. We visited this hotel 18years ago and it was dated then, they have not done a single update EVER! The rooms are dirty, the fixtures are rusting, the sheets and towels are cleaned but stained. It is gross. There was spotty WiFi so we could not find a place to rebook. As if this is not enough the gardeners come at midnight to do the gardening! They were hacking at trees and racking right outside our room all night. The staff is over worked and under paid. They flat out told us when we complained that the owners are cheap and don’t care. They own the whole side of the island and make a tone of money from visiting tourists so why update anything. Such a shame! Don’t believe the photos. The rooms will disappoint you.

Decent hotel, AC works wonders and so does the shower. I don't expect much of a place that I use only for sleep. It would be nice if the wifi worked on the third floor, but apparently, it works by the pool only. There is a breakfast cupom included for a bar/restaurant in front of the beach which is included with your hotel reservation, the breakfast is (coffee, a couple of toast with butter or jam, and a cup of juice of the day). Again, I generally don't even have breakfast, so this was a plus since it was already "included". We had two queen size beds in the room and a small balcony that you can kind of see the ocean in the morning.
