★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Staff was friendly and it was clean. They let us choose the floor of our room for the view.. Negative: A couple of days before ariving they sent me an e-mail I needed to make a deposit in advance because it was high season, which is a total lie, as September is rainy season and the only high season in the Huasteca is holy week. So yeah, they will probably try this on you as well! Just say no. The cafeteria was closed and there is not even the option to get a get a coffee, although it is a coffee region....you can buy a bag of coffee at the reception and they tell you about the store next door. The Hotel has a main entrance and then one to the back street which wasn't locked when we arrived at 22:30 after dinner, which concerned me. The curtain rail was broken when we arrived, apparently they didn't care. Uncomfortable beds..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little hotel that has all the basic amenities would the bells and whistles. It's location is perfect to various attractions, the center of the city and restaurants. Keep in mind the city is on a hill top and your daily " commute" can involve a ton of uphill climbing. Some hills are pretty steep for cars too. As for the hotel, it was clean and it has a great view from every room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well. I'd go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Very friendly staff, they picked us up from the bus terminal. Great location with hill view. If possible, I recommend a room in a higher level, better view. There is a kind of roof top with chairs to enjoy the sunset. Beds were fine, and with ear plugs you can have a good sleep, it gets a little loud in the morning from various animals in the town. We had hot water, room and bathroom were clean. One of the nicer hotels from what we saw in the city.. Negative: All fine..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room is ok and cleanish. Pictures look way better. The walls are made out of paper and the doors are so thin. You can hear everything and everyone. Worse experience of all the hotels i’ve stayed in mexico so far. Super noisy until super late, tight parking situation. Look somewhere else!
