★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had pretty low expectations since I knew this was a budget/value option, but I was still disappointed. Next to an incredibly noisy bar that blasts music into ~4AM. No ceiling/floor fans or AC which had been standard at other similarly priced hotels around Canada.
Timing for services was awful - I was promised same-day turnarounds for laundry and COVID testing, but each case was 24 hrs and 6 hrs late. This would have caused complications if I had to travel in the same day.
Avoid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing is worthy of one star at this hotel. The noise from the bar next door is in your ear until 2am or later. The receptionist lied when we asked if we could switch rooms. They first told us the hotel was fully booked and later stated we could change rooms after we already booked a different location. Under no circumstance would I recommend staying here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners of the hotel had to put isolated windows in the rooms long time ago. This hotel is not meant to spend nights from 9 pm to 2 am. This very loud music will follow you for 2 more days after you return home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location.
Tour buses are across the street..City tour wrist bands are good for 24 hrs. Got mine at 7pm for a tour and was able to use it again the next morning and you can hop on and off.....nice. I did some tours without booking a tour and was able to do things I wanted at my pace.
Rooms are dated but when you're here to visit CDMX who cares.
Staff are helpful room was clean.
Free breakfast on 7th floor but the elevator was busted..lol so at 75 I needed the exercise anyways....lol
I would definitely book a room again...road noise died down at 1am it's a big city what do you expect.
Oh and awesome tacos across the street 3 for 30 pesos and more places around the corner....you won't go hungry...lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a 3-star hotel and the price, this location is excellent. It is located two blocks away from El Zócalo and one block away from Avenida Francisco I. Madero. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, of different kinds of food. However, there are two bar and discotheques nearby that play music late at night, which can be annoying by around 2:00 A.M. if you need some rest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to start?! First of all, NO AC in the room. But we couldn't even open the window to let in some air because the bar right next door was playing excessively loud techno music until gone 3am which made impossible to sleep, even with earplugs!!
Next, the bathroom is a wetroom with just a shower curtain to separate the shower from the rest of the small bathroom. The bathroom door - well the entire bathroom - was old, the paint was cracked and just looked rundown. One of the taps for the sink didn't work.
Breakfast was included and was probably the best part of the entire stay, albeit the service was poor.
With this hotel you get what you pay for... Cheap but not cheerful at all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel, well located, there is a very nice bar next door, unlike most hotels here it actually has carpets so it's quiet. It doesn't have AC and the hot water takes ages to come out (and it's at best warm not hot) the breakfast service is decent the servers were very nice and accommodating , not the best hotel I've been but then again I've been in some really bad hotels in Mexico City

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice clean established hotel in Centro Historica. Rooms are small but clean. Shower and toilet are in the same area so the floor stays wet. I was on the 1st floor which was nice but at night until 2 am the bar next door was busy and played 80s music so it was difficult to sleep. There is no AC so no white noise.
