E	Eri Brody on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great family hotel, right in downtown Puerto Escondido. Staff is really friendly and speak great English. Two blocks only from the ADO bus station and close to Carrizalillo, Puerto Angelito and Manzanillo beach, all great for swimming.

But one morning, January 2021, as we left for a walk and gave our keys to a boy we returned to find someone had come into our room and taken some items, especially our credit card. We had to cancel it.We believe it was this kid who worked the night shift.

Everything is walkable, the shower and toilet work, and the WiFi is good. The staff, while polite, don't pay much attention to the guests. A few inexpensive touches would make this hotel a lot better, like some new, non scratchy towels, nightstands with reading lamps, and some coverings over the bare CFL bulbs, and clothing hangars. I would have been happy to pay a little extra for drinking water in my room, but you can get 10 litre jugs at the pharmacy across the street for mx 30. In summary, decent, affordable, spartan.
