This review is ONLY about the restaurant (s)! UPSTAIRS: First visit a waiter improperly describe a dish to me and didn't describe another (that was, to my disappointment, spicy). That led to two choices that were just okay. Well the polenta fries (180mxn) are decent except the fries themselves have zero herbs or flavor--FINE, but the truffle sauce is overpowering/salty for those not totally obsessed with truffle flavor. The cabbage app (250mxn) was a watery red sauce with a spicy bite. The main chef I was told took that day off. Wish he hadn't. Luckily I was too full to order a main course and be further disappointed. DOWNSTAIRS Another day I had a fantastic sweet potato pancake order (175mxn) that had it's own issues. 1, tasty, but not actual pancakes! (No flour). Not a problem for me (less carbs!) but perhaps for some. 2. Very tiny! Three the size of my hand making a circle. You would definitely leave hungry. For the price I'd expect them the size of real pancakes. Or at least double portion. 3 Outside of the slightly sweet red date sauce, the "cakes" themselves yield no real flavor. 4. There's not enough of that sauce! It's a garnish! The reason I loved this dish was more texture related (pillow soft inside, crispy outside, thick). With enough sauce and a larger size it would be worth having again. I'll add a half star for the beautiful view upstairs and downstairs garden. And friendly chef. But some things could be improved, including consistency of the food between chefs.

Food was ok, not amazing, and they were missing about half the menu (all the seafood, some pasta dishes), didn’t mention it till after we ordered. Very overpriced. Service was mediocre, somewhat inattentive.

Came here for New Years Eve dinner and drinks. The set menu looked great and was quite pricey, so we were looking forward to it. Although the food was presented very nicely, it wasn't to our tastes at all, and each dish had 'funny' ingredients which really didn't blend well and tasted just off. The desert in particular had the weirdest tasting ice cream I've ever tried. The terrace upstairs was great to watch the fireworks, but unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations.

Absolutely a gorgeous super clean comfortable hotel that makes you just want to stay longer than expected, The rooms beautifully and elegantly decorated, large and very homey. The bedding is top shelf you truly do relax as it is also very quiet. Above and beyond sanitary and safety protocols are in place as well. The location is perfect walking distance to everything. The Restaurants are delicious and the open kitchen lets you know that the chef is on top of every dish, we didn't have 1 bad bite in 3 days of being there. The mixologists really care for their craft too , I had a nice conversation with Ivan about Whisky drinks HE MADE ME SOME NICE STIFF DRINKS! He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Carmen our server in the mornings would make us a fresh cup of coffee that was outstanding! I even bought a bag home yes its that good! Here's the best part of my experience, WOW I cannot say enough of the Service that we received from the Concierge team First we were so warmly welcomed by Omar, man you can genuinely feel the passion that he has for the guests as soon as we walked in the door! We were celebrating my wifes birthday getaway and Javier is a total ROCKSTAR! He helped me get everything ready for her to have a special day. He coordinated a dozen beautiful white roses and brought them to our breakfast table to surprise her, Any request that I made he made it happen and made it happen quickly! The personalization that they gave me was up to the minute as you can make your requests through text messages and no lag in the response! Guys have you ever checked out of a Hotel early in the morning and miss breakfast? I have many times! They came forward and told me that they would have a lunch box for us for the road and made it happen! Wow we were blown away! I have stayed at World class hotels all over the world and The staff here is right up there in that class! Shout out to Edwin who escorted us goodbye and to Charlie for bringing us all the stuff we wanted! We cant wait to come back here and tell everyone about our experience and happiness with the Hotel! You must stay here as you will agree with my review. Service like this is no fluke and you can tell that is a daily practice to serve the customer and for the customer to have the maximum experience! Thank you again to the staff we will see you soon! Thank you Juan and Sylvia Rodriguez

Service is far from good. Room hasn’t been made twice. Had to wait 55 minutes for breakfast. No explanation of the room, super warm in the room, no bed for our daughter ready. Way to expensive for what they offer. Location is good

Gorgeous place to stay while in San Miguel de Allende. Woke up every morning to birds chirping around the courtyard (granted they were bit loud but it was surreal in a nice way). Definitely would come back and stay here again. The tub looked gorgeous but unfortunately the seal on the tub drain was broken, they quickly sent someone to check it out and fixed it the morning after (it is to note I called them at 11pm and they were extremely responsive!). Unfortunately I had a busy trip and was unable to get in the tub at all! Will have to make sure to do that on my next trip!

We HIGHLY recommend this amazing hotel! We rented out all rooms for 3 nights for our wedding weekend, sharing the hotel with family and friends. All of our guests unanimously agreed the hotel was beautiful, the service was exceptionally attentive, and it was very quiet and peaceful despite being located in the very center of town. The included breakfast on the rooftop was a hit, all the dishes were delicious and the setting overlooking the city was stunning. The concierge helped us with little touches throughout the weekend, storing our alcohol for the entire wedding for a day before we could deliver it, making pizza in under 10 minutes so the groom would have something to eat before leaving for the wedding, and providing a personalized wedding gift at the end of our stay. We recommend Casa Blanca to everyone visiting San Miguel and will be staying there many more times in the future!
